The new windscreen arrived from Sydney today and took about 30 mins to fit. It has a blue sunstrip along the top. I did have what looked like an antenna on both sides of the old window, but I think it was for something in Japan and didn't worry about it. There were a Pioneer Carrozerria thing that had wires under the roof lining, I still don't really know what they are for. My radio still works so it musn't effect that. Anyway, I am happy having a nice new windscreen now. If you don't have glass coverage as part of your car insurance, I highly recommend you take it out.

Cheers for the replies. The place here in Canberra that sub-contracts for the Shannons contractor ordered my window from Sydney, but it didn't turn up today when I arrived at the workshop. Not too happy but not much I can do. Hopefully it arrives Monday and I can get it fitted before going back to work on Tuesday. I am taking a different way to work from now on. It may be longer than the bumpy road that I broke the windscreen on, but it is a lot smoother & part of it is brand new. I am looking forward to getting posted to somewhere next year where I do not have to drive on shit country roads whilst dodging wildlife.

I had a rock hit my window over the weekend on a shitty country road and now have a crack down the driver's side. Needless to say, I need a new windscreen. Insurance covers it thankfully. My question (and the windscreen guy's) is, does the C34 Stagea share a common windscreen with anything else? Or is it an individual item? I am not fussed whether it is an Australian or Japanese glass, I just want my windscreen fixed. If anyone has a part number too, that would be great. In the rare chance you know of a spare windscreen at a wrecker, I am in the ACT. Cheers, Adam

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
Hanso replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Not a mod as such, but I am getting a new windscsreen due to the shit roads I travel to and from work. Country roads FTL. -
I have slotted Dixcels, I ordered them from RHD Japan. I'll have a look for the part number amongst the bomb site my new garage is at the moment.
-
Cue bogans to start up with Nissan cheating with the R32 GT-R's and now this new entry.

Under the Stagea looks ok now I can see under it during the day. A lot of blood and fur under my car, at least nothing looks damaged as far as I can tell. Off to the car wash tonight after work to gerni the remains of the roo away.
-
I ran over a dead roo this morning on my way to work out at Bungendore a bit after 0500. Luckily the thing was already dead. I hope I haven't done too much damage to things under my Stagea. The bits of roo stink like all hell too. Time to get the gerni out & clean under the car I think, and I only polished the car on Thursday. At least I have no panel damage. Stupid marsupials, stay off the road.

Wtb - Roof Racks For C34
Hanso replied to lilcrash's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I have Prorack roof racks on my Stagea, have a look on their NZ website for the part numbers, then go grab them from Super Cheap Auto or somewhere that stocks them. I got mine from SCA, the mounting kit was free at the time I bought the rails. I have the Whispbars. -
The 400R is now available in the Online Collectors Dealership. 120,000.
-
I do have the Monaro & Commodore SS now. If I find the AU Falcon, that will complete the Aussie cars in my garage. Not that I'd use them though.

I got back into GT5 yesterday after playing BF3 & MW3 since they were released. I bought the latest DLC, some nice cars there. I had a win in the Used Dealership, they had the Initial D AE86 there. Winning! Played some A Spec, but I had to use the Dual Shock as I still haven't got around to buying a Wheelstandpro for my Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel. I won a few races & then went back to B Spec. Started the 24hr Le Mans with the Red Bull X2010, one Level 37 driver, the other two Level 35. Started at 0030 this morning, suspended the race after 12hrs. I am very comfortably ahead of the pack to say the least! I could imagine leaving the PS3 on for 24hrs though. Even with the cooling fans I have for mine, it is still a little warm now. Hopefully I can finish the remaining 12hrs tonight while I'm asleep & in the early hours of the morning. Then on to the 24hr Nurburgring! I hope to get the level 37 driver to Level 40 in order to get the trophy. I'm Level 38 in B Spec, hopefully I can get to 40 myself after doing the two 24hr races. I am only at level 15 in A Spec, but until I am using the wheel again it will remain where it is. The Seasonal Events had some B Spec races, but as they are limited by Performance Points, I had to reduce the power of some cars to suit. My 260RS Stagea won a couple of races! That Chaparrel 2J though can derelict my balls!! I cannot get anywhere near it on the Indy 500 track. I have seen they go for 15 million in the Used Dealership, I'm on a bit over 11. Save up for it, or do the birthday glitch on another account? What to do? Time for lunch, I think my PS3 is still hot enough to cook a steak on it, .

Do You Know A Ben Ellis Who Works(ed) For Zurich Financial Services?
Hanso replied to GHOSTrun's topic in New South Wales
Good luck with finding this douche Mike. Scammers like this guy need to be named & shamed. -
If the 5-0 think it is, I'm not fussed.

I live in NSW with my car still registered in QLD. I have never been stopped to be defected to date. Speeding, only once but I learnt my lesson. Then again, the cops here probably have no idea what a Stagea is.

Can someone tell me where Pine Island is? Either day is good but happy to go with the flow. -
Do you need to get brand new rotors machined? I'm not too sure on this, never had to do this before.
-
A little over 1200 including freight via DHL. The freight was the killer. I had no luck looking on Australian brake rotors, at least these fit my car without having to stuff around re-sizing and I don't want to convert my brakes as I mainly use it as a daily. Brembos are awesome, but not something I need as I rarely visit a track.

English C34 Repair Manual Almost Complete

Awesome, I have a Japanese version which although helpful, would be much better if I could read the text. I knew I should have paid more attention in high school Japanese!!
