  1. Not all suspension is damper adjustable but those that are commonly have either an adjustable knob down low (near where it bolts on to a lower suspension arm) or on top like your fronts. To access this though (if there are no extensions) you will need to get under the parcel shelf which is where the top of the strut is bolted. Or if you're really lucky and have the latest electronically adjustable ones that Tein, JIC, Cusco and several others are putting out, just push the button on the control unit. cheers
  2. Google a search for "Badges" and I am sure you will find heaps of places in Oz that will make exactly what you want. Could be a good group buy prospect. Cheers Muz
  3. Cam covers and turbo if you want to separate? Cheers Muz

  5. Hi jmac, I'm still following this thread as I am yet to be convinced that a GCG hiflow is the way to go. No offence to Bass and ABO-Bob Starting to lean more towards what you have done. Can't wait to see that DD graphs. Cheers Muz

  12. Hi Adam, Yeah mate after reading your posts and some limited discussion with Pete, decided to sell the "B's" (gone to Germany) and get a set of "A's". Many thanks for your response though and great to see you are still at it. Off topic, what are your thoughts on a 2535 as a replacement for the standard turbo as opposed to GCG hiflow? Cheers Muz
  13. I could be wrong and probably are but doesn't the PFC designed for the Neo engine run the VVT? Now I could be a real dunce and have only imagined that for the last couple of years the PFC in my R34 was running the VVT but like I said I could be wrong.................
  14. Order placed - Many thanks for the responses. Hi all, I really need a set of Tomei Cams (Type A) to suit the RB25DET (NEO). Does anyone know where I might be able to buy these at a realsitic price. I am happy to shop O/S (Nengun etc) but would prefer to spend dollars locally. Any and all help appreciated Cheers Muz

  16. gees it's a small bloody world these days. Many thanks for that.
  17. Thanks Bass, Looks like I might have sold the cams to a guy in Germany as no realistic takers here in Oz. I'll post the graphs when I get it all done. Now to find a set of Spec A's. Cheers and thanks Muz
  18. Hey Bass, I have all the usual mods and had bought these cams thinking I might go for a larger turbo but have since changed my mind and will go with a high flow (like you and Adam). After reading Adam's (Abo BOB) thread on here, I figure that the Spec A cams will be enough and still leave me with the very sweet idle I have at present. Is this line of thought correct? Happy to be told otherwise. Engine Mods: LARGE ARE intercooler. Z32 AFM, PFC, Nismo fuel pump, Nismo fuel reg, Nismo 480cc injectors, Nismo Twin Plate Clutch, Nismo 3.5 inch exhaust system, Nismo Timing Belt, Apexi Air intake, HKS Oil cooler. Some of this stuff is still waiting to go on (italics) and is just sitting in boxes on the garage work bench. Almost forgot to mention the crowning engine bay improvement piece .... A genuine BASSJUNKY Radiator Air Flow Guide. Happy to continue the discussion. Cheers Muz

  23. Had mine since almost new, now done 42K and as the above post says, it's time to replace the coil packs. Will be replacing mine with Splitfires. Other than that, generally a pretty good vehicle if they are maintained well. As most Skyline owners will tell you. Keep to regular service schedules an you won't have any problems. The coil packs are the first thing (other than blown bulbs) I had play up. Cheers Muz
  24. First of all, and believe it or not, the R34 Skyline is not a big heavy car when compared to local products. From memory, the the Skyline is nearly 300 Kg lighter than the BA Falcon. It may be heavy when compared to some fibreglassed monster but at 1350 kg does not rate in the heavy catergory. I use EBC Greenstuf pads and these suckers will just about put you thru the windscreen. Their temp range is 50C to 650C, have next to no squeal when cold and only need one application to come up to temp from cold. Do not suffer from fade on street and spirited driving use, next to none in brake dust and are relatively gentle on the rotors. Definitely sounds like you may have a bubble. Cheers and good luck Muz
