I would solder the pins that would plug into the loom. By the looks of the photo that would be your problem of the boost guage not working

check the sender some times they dont work I had to re solder the pins on the module under the bonnet. That fixed it

so its definately not starting at 8 like the topic started. is it now 9 or was that a typo.

I saw a beacon unit in the boot of a v35 and it has a sensor on the dash and a nissan key ring that you touch on a pad near right knee. It looks factory. There are instructions in the glove box but I cant read it. What does it do? My guess is that it warns you if your going to go off the road in japan. And it stears you back. set by beacons along the side of the road. Ive done a search and nothing. I think its interesting.

Bump Still for sale Turbo is now $500 because I found out its an r34 with OP6 housing. Pity it wasnt snaped up earlier. I wouldnt of known.

The beep comes up when the No map disk message comes up. As soon as you turn it on it tries to find the disc and if its not there about 5 sec it will put the no map disk message on the screen along with the beep.

Im thinking that if the HR3 can record tv and radio it MIGHT record the av inputs aswell. Because I want to be able to have an extra camera inside the car which can record things, just in case my car gets broken into then I will have there pictures. Ha Ha.

And you also learn some things aswell

P.S The japanese lady will talk without the dvd aswell its for the warnings like if you open your door while driving she will tell you to shut it. Also if you have the map disk in you will get her to talk also but its mostly about the maps then. If you have no disk in it then its most probably telling you a service is due that is set from the maintenance menu. I think what he means by loading is that it sounds like it is.

Your dvd rom will try and run evrytime you start the car it trying to find a disk or it works out one isnt there and The message is that there is no dvd inserted. It wil come up everytime you start your screen. The dvd rom will run your screen and the menus on it. The dvd rom is for playing the map disks. The running sytem is allready there. The card reader under your steering wheel is not needed. It was removed. I had one aswell because I didnt have the ETC module next to the dvd rom. Its for toll collection. I only have the japanese girl talk if i open the door or pull on the handbreak anything that is wrong will get her to talk. Otherwise i dont here form her. If you decide to convert your screen to english in the future when series II is ready those warnings will all be in english.

HKS Coilovers I have for sale some HKS coilovers for a skyline r33 GTST the fronts are hyper 'd's and the rears are hypermax. They have been resealed with new seals and new oil and nitrogen gas approx 15000kms ago. I have taken them out of my car because the rears have a slight tick every now and then (depends on road). It sounds like the pillow balls are slightly worn. I also noticed after taking out one of the rears it has about half a cm of gas in top of tube when shaft is fully extended you can hear it squelch a little. There are no leaks and still have gas. These would be great for a track or drift car. They dont come with and C spanners or keys. The dampning can be done with a 3mm allan key. They are as is in the picture. Thats about it. You are welcome to have a good look.
