  1. When I was young I got into some serious trouble as I was a idiot, after the cops bashed me me parents bashed me, I learnt a valuable lesson in that, obey the law or face the consequences, now days if you raise a hand or your voice against crime you get in trouble your self, we seem to forget the basics for learning and punishments, if you don't get punished you don't learn, simple. And people wonder why there is so much crime and a lack of respect everywhere you look. We are only just animals in the big picture, the only difference is we seem to have forgotten that, and that will be our eventual downfall.
  2. Sell auto and buy a manual, use the other money on top to buy a car with mods done, you will save thousands. Why did you buy a auto in the first place, you will waste a huge amount of money on a conversion. Or just keep it auto.
  3. I don't think that "name and shame" wouldnt work, most of these people wouldn't care, I say harsher penalties to fit the crime, I don't care if they have to catch a bus or ride a bike for the rest of their life, they don't seem to worry about the general public so why worry about them, the laws have softened to a point that even if you break the law if you whinge enough about how hard it all is you will get off because the bleeding hearts jump on the hand wagon. It's just another case of people not accepting the responsibility or consequences of their actions. Your views on these things change when people you know are killed by these idiots, if they just killed themselves it would be OK but they usually survive leaving others dead in there wake.
  4. It's more for the urban areas that limits need harsher enforcement, people doing 70 in 40 zones, lots of kids get hit because people speed, braking distances decrease massively when you lower the speeds, my area is 50 kph zone with lots of parks and schools around but idiots still speed and drift the roundabouts, you can hear them gassing it up and down the streets all the time, mostly P platers but there are some older people who should know better. I've said it before and I'll say it again, some people are so stupid they need to be put down.
  5. It's beer O clock.
  6. My daughter will be taking me, the minister of war and finance may make a appearance as well.
  7. Lots of areas will be lowering overall limits, they are not putting any up. Doesn't bother me at all really, I normally just cruise around in the left lane doing the limit, I save my speeding for the track. People need to slow the puck down on the street, I always see idiots speeding, don't whinge and just do the speed limit, if you have more than 1 brain cell you can do it without your world coming to a end.
  8. No such thing anymore as a easy engineering certificate.
  9. HOPEFULLY, fixed for the drag day.
  10. I may be bringing the R31 Nissan Skyline GXE Wagon of awsomeness as the R33 Nissan Skyline GTS T of annoyance will most likely not be ready.
  11. Na, my car is still at UNIGROUP, aarrrr%g
  12. Top drifters are finding traction because there are events they can attend, what tracks hold regular drift events ?
  13. My thinking is Time Attack is Super Springs by another name, its like the State of origin of Sprints but with more hype and stickers. I love WTA, big dollar, highly developed, monsters on steroids, even with the controversies, I will be a big fan boy. Other wise its a Super Sprint which can be had every month at a local track near you. On that note, bring it to NSW, I'm always willing to have a go if my cars going, and the price is right, I mean I can do EC for around $200ish and Wakie tor $150ish.
  14. I dont mind drift at night, but then I have never seen it at any event other than WTA in 2010, Seems like its struggling to stay alive at the moment, Super Sprints and Motorkhana is still nice and strong though so plenty of events for them to tag along with, Im seeing alot more "drift" looking cars at the sprints I go to, looks like some smart guys coming over to the "dark side" eh. Bring this Super Sprint series to NSW.
  15. I agree with more classics, anyone can buy a 32,33,34,35 which seems to be the majority of people, me included, but it takes a real enthusiast to keep the old girls going, I may be biased as Im getting on a bit now but at a car show its the smick old girls that get me excited. If I want to see shiny post 90 cars I can look in the car park or the pits on any Sunday, more power to the classic guys and girls keeping these cars on the road and track. FIGHT THE POWER
  16. Gday mate, Ill ring you again on Friday.
  17. I'm getting a adjustable feed for my 25/30 oil control problem, it is externally adjustable and will be set so when at high rpm the oil will be high enough for cooling and lubrication but will not overflow, by rights this should still see enough oil at low rpm to feed my lifters. With my 2 head drains and the drain from the can to the sump hopefully the oil is going to stay in the motor. Hopefully.
  18. BEWARE, I had 2 x 1mm restricters in my 25/30 and would fill the catch can and overflow it using a TOMEI pump reving to 7000 rpm down the straight at Wakefield, it had head drains and a return to the sump drain from the can, do lots of research on this, you may be fine using a standard pump though, just don't rev the standard pump to hard though as they are known to fail if reved too high, look in the forced induction sticky frequently asked questions and do all the oil mods if you can. Lots of good info from Sydney Kid if you can get around the thread wars. Good luck.
  19. If my car is finished I will be there, Howe yours now mate, all sorted ?
  20. If that's Yavuz from UNIGROUP I'm pretty sure he's still coming, we were talking about it the other day.
  21. I am trying to get there for a look only, sounds like a fun event with a field of Allsorts.
  22. This may be a contender for post of the year, or the Darwin awards, it justs needs time to cure.
  23. The flames coming out you exhaust may bring some unwanted attention, also the amount of dead green houses left in your wake. Do you actually know how it works ? Track only I would say.
