  1. CAI is fine as long as the filter is enclosed(stock air box), not sure but a gtst has a CAI as standard with the stock air box, swap it over, not sure but that shouldnt be to hard. What car is this for. MLR
  2. G,day Anna34, Mark here, was wondering if you would like me to do up some route cards for the cruise, i could include halts along the way. I can do this at work so if you want this done tell me what your after and i will make them magically appear. Just need a couple of days prior notice with the routes so i can use and abuse the stores at work.

  4. Thanks guys.
  5. Supposedly good for 400-460 hp.
  6. Thanks mate. MLR
  7. Any idea how to find the HP range of this thing. .68 rear, a/r 70 compressor.
  8. Done the google thing with no joy, model T4, serial NP8062019, lots of stuff but no definitive answer, must be a china job but the quality of the finish is quite good not like some of the china jobs I've seen. Thanks, MLR.
  9. Been told its a TO4 but not sure any info on it would be appreciated. Thanks, MLR.
  10. Disconect your battery for about 1 hr, should do it.
  11. Maybe drop your price, Im trying to sell 6xr33 s2 coilpacks for $50.
  12. Then again, If i spend thousands of dollars at a shop(about 25k so far at one shop, with more to come) and donot get some sort of extra care my dollars will go somewhere else, 15 min of thier time will ensure that when im spending more money they get it, not the shop that jumps in my car and puts it on the rollers then revs it to the limiter with out even having a look. Ive had free sevices and small things fixed for free here and there, now that is what i call good service.
  13. All mods should be enginnered if not its a illegal mod and you could void your claim. Food for thought.
  14. For the money it costs for a tune the pre-check should be done for free as it only takes about 15 min to do the fluids and have a visual inspection, my tuner always checks it before it goes on the dyno. Thats why i go back to him, and in this day and age where customer care is a dying animal i will take my car to someone who is willing to look after me as well as insuring that my car is safe to get tuned without trying to suck every extra dollar he can from me. MLR
  15. mic0r, I like to do the Bunndeena detour, dont know the actual route we are taking though. MLR.
  16. Will this be from KK up Heathcoate, L onto Hwy, R into park then roll to Bald Hill(sydway pg 432 f 17) for coffee and icecream or push on thurther into Stanwell Park and stop near the kiosk(pg 432 c 19) . I missed getting my pie last cruise and had to suffice with only a icecream .
  17. Been investigating head work and polishing the ports is bad due to the fact the air sticks to the smooth surface creating drag whereas a rougher surface creates a thing (cannot think of the correct word) that lets the air flow more freely. Like the rough skin of a shark helps it go through the water without creating much drag. Was told to leave the ports with the machine marks or shoot peen them with glass beads to get the disired effect.
  18. Looked sweet on the highway just after the stop at the servo, after that it was like a carton of beer, one by one they went missing, LOL.
  19. Aggroman, was it the sub or me that got everybody lost.
  20. mic0r, The nasho run is bumpy but fun if you can avoid slow traffic or slow down and leave a good gap between you and them so you can enter the corners at a good speed, its not to bad but have you done the Putty RD or the Bell Line because if you liked the nasho you will love those runs, just be sure to stick to the speed limit as the police love them too, and make sure you know where you can get PULP as not all servos have got it. Safety tip; Watch the corners because sometimes cars and bikes venture into your lane, mainly the 25 and 35kph signposted corners.
  21. When i was a kid i went to the local tip at peakhurst and built a bike with the help of my cousins, all we took was a pump a small shifter and a puncture repair kit. AAAHHHH REMINISING
  22. Id like the car to rev up from idle to making boost quicker, didnt get a torque reading last tune so i dont know what its got, getting the crank knife edged and the other bits and peices balanced should help ive been told, not sure if i want a lightened flywheel at present. Thanks MLR
  23. Ive heard it on good authority that they are all terrorists down there.
  24. I knew i was in trouble when I couldnt see anyone infront of me , Had a good day though, it was nice at the beach where all the lost boys ended up, got stuck behind some slow traffic in the nasho coming home but still managed a bit of fun, looking forward to the next cruise but maybe next time a destination and some halt spots along the way orginised prior to the day would be sweet as some of us got caught behind traffic and lost the leading packet, all in all good day. Thanks. PS, Im willing to help do a route card if anyone is interested in it, i do them at work for our road moves.
