The reson i own a skyline is the fact they are a cheap car that has good performance potential, i donot do burn outs or drift around round abouts because that is a stupid and dangerous thing to do and why smoke my expensive tyres just so someone i dont know will think im cool, It would be acceptable if im heating them up at the drags but i havent raced a car in years so i see no point in doing it. I like to drive, simple as that, yes my car is making substancialy more power and handles much better than new but what i like is the drive, The PUTTY RD, NORTHEN RD, bacicialy any roads in NSW, ACT, MELB,or QLD are the places i frequent. Long winding roads that your average car would be painfull to drive are home for my car. Yes, i sometimes exceed the speed limit but mainly im just cruising along the longest windiest roads that are out there. Drifting, Drags and Circuit work are the most fun you can have in a car but keep it on the race track where it belongs, if you think you are good enough do it, even if you dont go to your local track and give i a go, i did. (Not the Drifting though). Its the wankers out there that go out do stupid shit that cause all the trouble, its the hey look at me mom syndrome for most of the younger kids, but its the im old and impotent for the older generation, both of these groups generaly cannot drive in a straight line let alone corners.I would love to see the times of most of these fools on a circuit, but then they would never get their car around more than a few laps without crashing out or breaking their car. Last bit of raving now, most of the cars these idiots drive are either stock or only have power upgrades , everybodys heard them boast, "yeah mate ive got 300kw at the wheels" but not one upgrade to the braking or handling side of things. Yeah Sambo33gtst i have the same problem, they usually looked quite shocked when they see how old i am though, still shits me though as you said there are plenty of dodgy cars out there and even some of the mods we do to our cars to make thembrake and handle better will get us defected. Hey DANTAY, Ive seen grown men change their point on religion in a heart beat (or at least a lot of heart beats in rapid succession ), all that is needed is a shock to the system, like when that quite guy that everyone takes the piss out of goes cyclic and wastes them, or that hard ass guy who was always in control of any situation breaks down crys uncontrolably like a baby when his dog dies. All that is need is a catalist and people can and do change the views that have had for their entire life. My theory of the sheep comment is this, Most people are always asking to be lead in the right direction whether that be religiously or commercialy to a end that makes their life easy, have more meaning, or so they can fit in because most people are scared that if they dont fit in or go along with the majority they will be left out in the dark by themselves. When people are scared the fight or flight senario takes hold which means hidding or banding together with like minded people to change the situation they are in to one that is more secure, which means removing the things that scare them. IE, Hoon drivers in fast cars killing people, Remove the fast cars and they will feel safe again . Crazy man with a rifle killing people, Remove the rifles and they will feel safe again. Whether they fix these things in the long run is mute as they will fee safe now.

Media does influence people, look at gun laws, now only the criminals have guns, didnt really work in the way that they wanted but when you force a issue the sheep will follow, also why does the government and industrie spend millions of dollars on advertising if it doesnt work. The sad fact of the matter is that the world is full of sheep who want to be lead and told what to do, Fortunatly i and some other like minded people understand that you can have power if you respect it and use it only where it is safe to do so, unfoutunatly some people dont and they end up in the media where they give he sheep their daily fix of headlines of how these hoons must be stopped.

Anyone know where i can purchase some CF sheet, i need a sheet about 600mm x 600mm x 0.5mm. I have googled and looked up the yellow pages but the closest place i can find is in Germany. If anyone has old or damadged flat panels, ie bonnets or anything similar i may be interested. Im building a new air box, this is actually going to be the third attempt, first was made from perspex which leaned on and stuffed it, second from aluminium which is to shinny so i thought CF was the obvious next choice.
