Media does influence people, look at gun laws, now only the criminals have guns, didnt really work in the way that they wanted but when you force a issue the sheep will follow, also why does the government and industrie spend millions of dollars on advertising if it doesnt work. The sad fact of the matter is that the world is full of sheep who want to be lead and told what to do, Fortunatly i and some other like minded people understand that you can have power if you respect it and use it only where it is safe to do so, unfoutunatly some people dont and they end up in the media where they give he sheep their daily fix of headlines of how these hoons must be stopped.

I just hope the Government doesnt ban Imports or even ban anything other than standard cars because some idiots think its cool doing 300 ks down the freeway or drifting on the way down to the shops, then has a brain fart and kills some poor bugger and his family on the way to a sunday picnic. Yes its not only Imports that these fools drive but my Skyline looks faster than your average commadore or falcon when its parked, so to the average joe who will write to their Governmemt official about HOON CARS mine will be the one in the paper with a big front page spred saying BAN THESE DEATH MACHINES. mmmm sounds like about 30 yrs ago when the FORD GTHO had that write up in th paper.

Forget the media hype and dont invite them anywhere, they will tell you that they will write all positives but then the story will be about kids driving 300kw race cars on the street. The media get paid to you know, and a story about hoons will sell better than a story about nice tricked up cars that can brake, handle and accelerate better than when they where new from the factory. Anyone know where i can purchase some CF sheet, i need a sheet about 600mm x 600mm x 0.5mm. I have googled and looked up the yellow pages but the closest place i can find is in Germany. If anyone has old or damadged flat panels, ie bonnets or anything similar i may be interested. Im building a new air box, this is actually going to be the third attempt, first was made from perspex which leaned on and stuffed it, second from aluminium which is to shinny so i thought CF was the obvious next choice. This is how much piss and food is needed to read the 20 pages of posts that have accumilated over the last day when the misses is working late on a friday night. Normaly this time is used in cleaning and stairing at my 33 but its still in the shop and there was a lonely computer, a bottle of jim and half a backing dish of shepards pie that had my attention. Excuse my ignorance, ,but ive googled for a hour and cannot find the difference between a r33 gtst and a r33 gtst m spec. Whats the diff, ive also now heard of a v spec, yes i am confused. Thanks for any info or links. MLR

G,day, Im looking for other ways to make my 33 more theft proof, yes i have a alarm but im after opinions on steering wheel locks like the crook lock or wheel locks like the ones the council uses. As ive spent way to much money on a car that i use as a daily driver i get a bit worried when i leave it alone at big shopping centers or in the city. If there is anyone out there who knows the best way to defeat the c*#$ks#ckers i would be most appreciated. Ive already had 2 cars and 1 motor bike stolen and the other day i caught a $ucker testing my door as i was walking up to my car, he then got very upset when i said that he should not do it again, although i didnt really say it as such as i was punchng him in the back of his greasy drug soaked brain. OK now im loaded with enough info to make my desicion even harder, going low mount, single, just not sure which way to go in the material used, maybe mild steel steam pipe, maybe standard manifold. What i need is some unobtanium. Hmmm, Ive seen some pipes lying around that old government research facility.

Will be upgrading turbo soon and would like to know if there is any benifit in using a high mount over a low mount or is it just for looks. Thanks.

Whats the best place to take my 33 to for a engine rebuild, forgies-balanced-cams-head work ect, and new bolt ons,ie new snail, ecu, injectors, dyno. It must be streetable and reliable but i still want it to get up and go when i hit the right pedal, im wanting at least 300 kw atw. I live in western sydney, also im not interested in how much things cost i just need to know of some good honest, reliable work shops in my area. Thanks. MLR
