Get used to waiting. Its been 2 weeks and nothing helpful's been done to the GTR either. I dont adjust my excess because thats just asking for trouble...on standard excess im still paying close to 3k a year for them to treat me like shit. And, always go comp...because then they miiiight fix your car too. if you like their dodgy repairers.

+1 for the Pulsar...had an N16 for a few years before i bought the GTR...paid 40 a tank on normal unleaded, can last up to 500kms or so.
