  1. that machine relies on each key to be lined up correctly, and depends on the speed and smoothness of flow of each operator to work correctly.
  2. Its a bit more complicated than that, having done it myself in my last job. It LOOKS easy...but sometimes, it really isnt. The guys i used to work for had something like 20 years experience and still struggled with some keys.
  3. you need a massage and a nice warm relaxing beverage of the non alcoholic variety, ash. tea or coffee. that will relax you. Before going back and doing more of them
  4. This will sound noobish but what exactly is the purpose of the hat removalist?
  5. Thats correct. The car wont turn on unless its thouching that bit. The earth also provides a small amount of charge to the battery in the commodore keyhead also which prolongs the battery life for longer. Its still one of the easier cars to break into though.
  6. I might be bringing a pet photographer. maybe.
  7. Generally first glance will tell you with most Nissan keys. and AU falcons...not always, granted, bc my other key isnt like this. As below:
  8. +1 At least that way you know the mods that are going ON the car are decent quality parts also. Look as critically as you can - there are many, many 33s out there atm that arent even worth looking at cuz theyve been abused by careless owners
  9. The white sheep who comes home to the flock with bright purple wool, tattoos and piercings? Figures
  10. Given the year im gonna guess its a transponder key - no theyre not cheap. No most locksmiths dont keep any transponders other than late model falcon compatibles. My GTR key is just metal so it wasnt an issue - came with two spares anyway so i havent had to. (I used to work reception for a locksmith company here in ballarat) can i see a picture of the key? Chalk and cheese but i had to order a pre-cut key for my N16 pulsar while i was still working there, bought it cost price, still 100 dollars. Yes, for a PULSAR XD basically it needs to be programmed to your ECU as well if this is the case, and all this does add up in terms of $$$.
  11. We've been snubbed again
  12. So I'm not gonna be the only white 33 GTR?

  16. Well that is a fair point. One of my colleagues who does shift work asked me yesty morning as he was about to go home if it was very slippery and wet outside. I told him i never notice anymore

  20. Ahh ok thanks for clearing that up...
  21. I'll admit i was shocked and impressed to see the Tommi Makinen ed. Evo VI they had there...arent they rather rare?
  22. Happens sometimes, particularly sitting on a lot where they dont get driven much. Glad youre happy with it.
