  1. But if you do prefer the security of it...and how much finance companies prefer to deal with dealers... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ja...er-t275377.html dunno if theyre near you, but Dannis is a nice guy, and their cars are all clean and straight.
  2. Personally i wouldnt risk it. Even if you got the chains and all went well...id always be paranoid that something would happen to it if it ever left my sight.
  3. i want a 3 year vacation paid, preferably.
  4. Youre referring to the black one with 60 odd thousand on the clock? I'll admit even i was impressed by it... Congratulations on the purchase, when do you pick it up?
  5. Quoted cuz i just remembered - no he most likely won't do test drives on Saturdays. Why? Because he the ONLY PERSON there. Mechanics have saturdays off otherwise bob looks after the place while hes gone. Not every dealership has a heap of salesmen Hey big spender...
  6. As i said...never asked me for a deposit...HE drove the car. Maybe its because you arent looking at a GTR? As I've said ive personally had no issues with him. Only kinda rule he had regarding the deposit was that if my finance didnt come through in two weeks id lose it...and i had no worries with that already bing pre-approved for the whole amount before i even looked. ...Maybe you need boobs?
  7. Dunno bout y'all in NSW buttt...we here in Victoria arent allowed naturally aspirated high powered 6s either - they have a shortlist including M3s, 911s...and the 350 and 370Zs. Personally i had a lil Pulsar sedan for the entire 3 years i was on my Ps. Get an N16. Its designed to accelerate quicker and work better in lower rev range. redlines at 6500. I had the 1.8...good fuel economy, a lil bit of fun on a lil budget *shrug* you could probably pick one up for 10-14 grandish? Also, 55 000 kms? not going to be likely for most of the cars youre allowed to drive - even if you can throw money around like a millionaire. I got my full licence and upgraded to a GTR. Had no problems at all with the transition. After 3 years youre a better driver - then you can have a better car.
  8. Congratulations, very cute kid you have there
  9. In a word, yes...got the Just Cars value guide with my last copy of either Wheels or Motor, i forget which... Internet places the group a SS 'Walkinshaw' at over 50 000 dollars. Might check my value guide tonight to confirm.
  10. You'll find him much better in person. He doesn't try to press the car onto you which is refreshing. The cars sell themselves.
  11. sounds about right. bought mine thru an import dealer so they did that all for me. Asked me to sign an authorisation form with my details and a copy of my drivers licence attached.
  12. Mine is 6kms out running on 18s over 100km. Eg. 110 displayed = 104. Up to 60 or 70 odd it's almost bang on.
  13. His name is Jeff Dunham. Strassman still only has Ted E Bear and Chuck E Wood afaik.

  15. umm granted i have a GTR not a GTST (not sure on any accesory light difference) but my ABS light is on the left and is yellow/orange.

  18. Nothing wrong with wasteland either
  19. Don't be mean. Jez, I call everyone kid...even 30 y.o's
  20. don't really care what you think, kid so it doesnt matter
  21. The point was also made that there are only a few insurance companies that will insure Skylines in the first place, most of which who will immediately turn away anyone under 25.
