  1. +1^ Most water pumps have a small hole on the shaft that coolant leaks out of when the water pump seal is stuffed. The hole is normally located just behind the water pump pully. Check to see if it leaking from there. If not, then it may be a gasket leak from the waterpump. Maybe it wasnt sealed with goo properly being replaced once before in its life.
  2. Umm theres two topics of this. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...78#entry4919878
  3. +1^ fuel and wiring. These are normally the main things to check first. BTW you live were?
  4. Mate i had this exact same problem with my wifes car recently and it took me a few days to nut it out. After changing ecu, plugs, coilpacks, afm, fuel pump, checked electrical and intercooler plumbing but nup nothing. But after the few days of swearing and cursing i found it. It ended up being the intake pipe that goes from the AFM to the turbo. It had wriggled off the front of the turbo and was just sitting in front of it. I couldnt bloody tell because as most know, the intercooler piping covers alot of the turbo so you cant visualy see it unless you look for it. With the intake wriggling off the front of the turbo, it was sucking air in which was stuffing the fuel mixture ratio hence the reason why it wouldnt idle and it couldnt make boost. Put it back on and now shes all sweat. I would also check the plumb back system if you have it as it may be sucking air from there somewere too. Im not sure if this is going to solve your problem but check it out. Anything is possible. Hope you have some luck. Its a very annoying problem to find.
  5. As im sure you have already, check the following: Check all electrical connections to ignitor, plugs etc, check earths are being earthed from the ignitor etc Check intake pipe from AFM to turbo. I had my wifes wriggle off the turbo resulting in it sucking in air and causing it not not start and idle. Check CAS postion and connector. Timing belt not set properly and a few teeth out. Ive got many suggestions, it depends on what it is.
  6. Boost controller, vacum lines to boost controller and wastegate, or prob with waste gate? sitcking and isnt fully shut to get boost? Just taking a stab out of the dark here. Anything is possible.
  7. I would use a bit of heat around the bolt hole. Oxy torch on low pressure would get better heat into it. I dont think a pencil blow torch will do the job but see how you go. Otherwise from that do what the guy said above and step up your drill sizes and then re tap it. Either should work.
  8. Ive got a set of cusco's in mine and its a hard ride. I know what you mean about the bumps with your foot. Quite normal mate.
  9. PENRITE mate. Only way to go i rekon... PENRITE Running in oil
  10. I dont think they are the same. The ignitor is the same but the loom is different. They look simlure but im pritty sure there different in some way.
  11. Malz motoring and lesuire sell them really cheap. Got mine from Malz Cannington. I think it was only $50 brand new and no it wasnt a cheap one that would bend. I tested that first before buying it. Otherwise like Brendon says, See Danny from Japanese Performace Centre. Hes always got that sort of stuff.
  12. Test your perfect skills and google DILLIGAF!
  13. The compressor is the same but the top hat that the pipes connect to are in a different spot. You would need to change the top hat of the compressor if you did want to use a gtst compressor. Brandons link is the go James providing the compressors ok.
  14. yer i would of thought cas or a earth wire with the ignitor not earthing properly. (Depend if s1 or s2)
  15. Ive got a very simlure problem with my wifes car. Things i have tried and changed. Fuel pump, AFM, coilpacks, plugs, ignitor, ecu, checked vacum lines, Still scratching my head to know what it is. It has to be a sensor somewere. If i find, i will let you know.
