I have the same type of box as in first pic but just use a similar kit to this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/like/110767463356?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&lpid=94 to hold the battery down so it doesn't move. Works fine, has been in the car for 3-4 years!

I'm running this size too, there's a tiny amount of stretch but the michelins I think are a big tyre. I can't remember if we adjusted the camber but I did raise it a touch as well cause initially I couldn't even get a finger between the wheel and the guard.
