  1. I have been going through this thread for the last few days and can't seem to find the answer. I know it would be here somewhere but I obviously can't see it. I have a 99 RS4S and the front shocks are rooted. I can't seem to find part numbers or brand choices for the RS4S. Any help would be great cause the shops up here in Townsville only seem to want to help if I can get them the part numbers to save them doing a search or calling around for me. Need help as soon as possible cause I need to get this problem sorted. Just need part numbers/ Brands for shocks if possible. Yes I have tried searching and I am having no luck. Thanks.
  2. Until further notice I am having to put selling things on hold. Sorry for the inconvenience. Dave
  3. Hi, Fulcrum in Brisbane are who stripped the back struts. Had a local suspension company send them down. They are a TYPE NA coilover, not 100% sure. Not height adjustable but is lowered to a good height. Will weigh up the box and get a quote for courier or could use the Greyhound Bus service.
  4. Hi there, will get some pics up today of the coilovers and a couple other parts. The rear coilovers were pulled apart by a suspension place in Brisbane. They were stripped and not put back together due to lack of funds at the time. Was quoted if I remember around the $650 mark for them to rebuild. They will need to be rebuilt by a suspension shop, preferably TEIN specialist as they need to be revalved etc. All the parts should be there as they came back in a sealed box and have sat here doing nothing since.
  5. I have mine, don't have all the little clips, have most though. As you can see one is bent but could be straightened. The other 3 are all good. How about $30 posted. If interested then message me and I will give you my bank details.

  7. Hi, sorry don't have the Original 17" wheels. Mine came with the wheels in the picture and a set of 16" Nissan Rims (Not sure if Stagea or not)
  8. Will go see how mine are in the morning. Not sure on condition but will message you sometime today about it.
  9. Well, now that I have been screwed for work over christmas/ new year period etc, I will be putting up a new thread in the next couple of days with prices for parts as I will be stripping the car. (Much to the wifes disgust but bills are mounting). Will be stripping the whole car and will be willing to post but may need peoples help organising freight/ couriers if people want large items sent interstate. Gotta work out prices and what parts to keep together as a package so keep an eye on my new thread. Also as I am only slightly mechanically minded, if you are after an obscure part then I may need a photo to locate. At this stage motor/ box/ ecu will be kept as a package but will see what interest I have. Thanks Dave
  10. Any offers for $6500? Keen to sell this as a whole still. Bills mounting up and no other car as of yet so would love this gone. Any interest then phone or message on 0438 758 717 or message here.
  11. Guessing by the interest that you have for these there will be a 3rd and maybe 4th order for these. If you do have ones organised for early next year then I will be interested for my RS4S Stagea. Would look good and just another thing to add for it's time off the road. Thanks greatly. Keep up the great work.
  12. My post above stated that I had one for a NON NEO motor NEW UNUSED GENUINE. All you had to do was Private Message me your address and I would have sent it AT NO COST. Check my post above and get someone to FAST your VIN and check the part number matches. If you still want it let me know, if not then just use the gasket paper.
  13. Hi there, I have an AAC valve gasket that i purchased for my stagea but they got me the one for the Non NEO motor where mine is the NEO, being a differsnt shape. Part number I have on the packet is 23785-57Y00. If someone can FAST your VIN and check that is the correct number for your vehicle, you can PM your details and I will post it tomorrow. Nissan Genuine, still in pack. Not sure how much I paid for it but if you PM me then I will even pay for the postage stamp and being by snail mail, depending on your location from me you will most likely get it early next week. Dave
  14. I may be keen if it is early next year after Xmas is out of the way.
  15. Price dropped to $8000 as is. Any interest at all? Really don't want to part this. I just don't have the time or cash to fix this. Will look at selling a few bits and pieces in the next couple of days.
  16. Looking for expressions of interest in my 98 model RS4-S that I have. Has front end damage. Can be repaired and it is not on any registers as written off / repairable write off so no hassles in re registering it. Have got quotes to fix and just for the parts and some labour to do the metal work is looking around the $900 mark and then parts for the remainder of the front. Pics of before and after can be found here - http://s266.photobucket.com/albums/ii243/David_Casey/Stagea/ Selling with standard rims that are pictured. Was only a low speed crash but a towball hit the front of the drivers side chassis rail so that needs the front section cut off and a new section welded on which can be ordered through Nissan. Can supply part numbers for the chassis rail parts and for the radiator support section. I got quoted $320 for the whole radiator support new through my local Nissan. Not looking to part out at the moment unless I don't get any serious offers. It is a genuine RS4-S Dayz with a 5 speed manual and NEO RB25DET AWD. Motor has approx 170000k on the clock. (Just a bit under but close enough. Interior is clean as and have had no problems with it. Motor still runs just need radiator and fan. Inspections welcome and can take more photo's if anything else is needed. No stereo will be in the car. Looking for offers around the $9000 mark but is negotiable. Serious offers only please. At the moment NOT parting out car but may if no intrerest in whole car being sold. Any questions please ask. Car is located in Hervey Bay, QLD. 4655 Forgot to mention that there is also 2 cargo blinds a set of new stagea floor mats (Don't think genuine but new and not used with Logo.) and if sold for the right price a Front mount cooler with piping set up for factory inlet/outlet. Either message here or can be contacted most days on 0438 758 717 Dave
  17. Well, looks like I may be scrapping the Stagea. Had a smash repairer look at it and it is going to cost minimum of $900 parts and labour just to possibly get the metal work done. If they then get to a certain part and can't get the rest straight it then rushes into the thousands to cut the chassis rail around the firewall and weld all new bits in. Looking at keeping the gearbox and motor/loom etc and going the dreaded VL conversion. Damn insurance.. I knew I shouldn't have told them I had to speak to the missus fist to clear things with her. Next time I will just go ahead and do it. So.... Anyone got any good links to RB motor into VL?
  18. No airbag deployment thank god.. Because she had only just started to accelerate it didnt set them off. We have the money sitting here waiting for him to call with the cost to pay for his car but just a matter of time as to when he gets in touch with us. Will find out this week as to some prices and if the main metal work can be done and will go from there.

    Not Again

Sorry to hear about your loss too. I can certainly feel your pain. Hope it's not as bad as mine looks under all the panel work.
  20. That site is great. Has most parts that I need. Including a yellow bonnet and a Dayz bar. Will certainly be giving them a call on Monday. Now the main part is seeing if it is going to be worth paying for the chassis rail to be fixed/ replaced. Thanks greatly. Now the waiting game begins. Thanks all for your replies. Will be hoping to get this fixed cause we love the car but, due to both my wife and I working and having 2 kids we really need a car so first thing will be to get a cheap family car and then onto this. Even if it sits there for 6 months while I collect the parts, I would rather take the time to fix it then to see it parted out.
  21. Well, as of yesterday morning my beloved Dayz RS4-S has had it's front end redocorated when my wife decided that she would give a Holden Captiva's arse a love tap. The damn thing had a tow ball which softened the blow to his car but made an absolute mess of mine. Now before anyone critisizes me for not being insured, I called only thursday night and got a quote and before I could talk it over with my wife on Friday morning she had gone out to do some shopping. So unfortunately, no insurance. Got to get some quotes next week to see if the metal work can be fixed/ replaced and if the price is worth doing. The front of the right chassis rail copped the most of the towball so I need to find out if it can be fixed in any way or replaced. After looking at FAST, I can get the parts for the front part, to the firewall but not sure if cost and work needed will be worth it. As much as I love this car I think it may be time to either sell it as a whole or to part it out and recoup some money to buy a car. Well either way, will get to that bit later. Now for some photo's.
  22. Best thing I found for doing the Manual box is to feed a length of garden hose down into the filler plug from the engine bay and have a funnel up top to pour into. Best if you have 2 people for it so one can be under the car to let you know when it is full and to make sure the hose doesn't come out. Tried a hand pump for the oil but found the hose way easier. Bit cramped near the filler point so bit of messing about.
  23. What part number do you have for the DBA Slotted Rotors and also where are you getting the braided lines from?
