Whats the max power u can push thru a standard 33 gtr cooler? Also at what power do intake pipes need changing ?

Turbo diesel dont bother either The only thing you will do is put the car into fault by changing the exhaust they dont run cat converters their diesel particulate filters, disrupting the pressure will throw a fault and good luck after that the most common issue with ur astra that u will see is around 150,000klm ur egr flaps on the inlet will clog up and thats $2000 job so save up lol

Ok guys minor update. Went into work today to apply some parts to the 26, Got the N1 water pump on Tomei gears , cam seals, back timing plate, new nsk tensioner and idler and new tensioner and idler bolts and washers did however not put on the oil pump because i did some research yesterday.! Turns out i cant use my standard crank although it will be ok eventually the collar will bash shit out of the pump so i went n purshased a JUN crank collar. costed $198 deliverd from RHD bit pricey but cant sacrifice quality. When the collar arrives ill be pulling the crank out again i really dont want to disturb it but... i have to Ill be keeping this updated as soon as its done, wish me luck George

Ye rb26 has 1 went into work to do some shit on the motor sused out the crank, to what i saw do the machinist guys grind off the factory collar? Because it looks like its one piece lol

Ok explain this grub screw thing coz I put one in each on the side wall on the big ends I got them supplied did not know they were aftermarket????? I just bought a jun collar for $193 delivered rhd jap

Its just the cradle off and end caps but its all torqued up feel like shit pulling it ... Ok whats the labour cost to fit one?

Im building the motor myself its my first at the moment i have the long motor assembled but the sump is off still and the nose of the crank is still accessable timing gear is off too tomorro im going in to install some of the timing shit eg idler tensioner water pump do u reccomend the nitto rb series collar? Ill buy one now if u suggest

Ok i have a 33 series 3 gtr so crank is ok it got balanced and i have a ati 500 hp balancer what colar should i use ive never changed or done it before whats the process? What pressure am i after ?

Hi guys As i approach the next part of my build i yet again need to ask questions research etc Im going to slap on my oil pump tomorro and setup the front end of the motor but i have a question about the shimms supplied with the pump , not knowing what the oil pressure will be what is the suggested amount to put in if any? I read a fiew topics in other forums and they say run non and chek and put in as you need but this seems not to practicle since how do pumps like the trust one do this since its in the sump? Instructions are in jap no mechanic will lend info without getting paid so i ask u guys... Oil related info on engine - tomei pump - 1.1mm restrictor - head oil drain (spool) - 8-9 ltr sump ( not purchased yet) If any other info is needed ask

Guys in a predigiment at the moment i got a tomei oil pump for my gtr.... Problem is that led to sump extension because the std sump apparently is not enough! So the question is, Trust 1.5ltr extension is it enough for the tomei pump or do i need bigger eg hi octane..?
