  6. Hi guys havent been on in ages... havent had access to a pc been using my iphone but only going as far as uploading to facebook to get my pics since the site doesnt have the ability to upload pics via mobile... Well ive come a long way since my last post ill give a quick rundown on whats happend thus far. My racepace built sump arrived and was a work of art ! loved every bit of it, the sum was installed btw was a prick of a job turbo / hot side was complete with all factory lines running thanks to the NITTO head oil drain which i was glad to be the 1st public owner! and it does wonders for people trying to maintain factory lines. Recoed my alternator only reason was it looked like shit on the motor so i decided to sandblast and paint the housings but everything fell out (never pulled one appart) so i decided to replace bearings etc and it turned out amazing ! the intake side consisted of drilling holes on the intake runner for the D-jetro using all the tomei gaskets supplied... recoing the AAC unit and replacing every worn out hose with silicone ones also using awesome hoseclamps that dont tare into the silicone Cam covers turned out sexy as with the decision to go polished manifested in my head thanks to my dads gorgeous jaguar engine bay i was then convinced i had to ! The oil filter housing / cooler / heat exchanger needed a new oring which was not supplied i had to find one at work that worked LOL but its all good fits perfectly i wish i had the cash to get a oil relocation / cooler now....! im at the point now where i have the entire fuel system minus injectors... but i am not going to install the system as i wont be able to chek for leaks / problems by running the car if i install it... the d-jetro will want to learn idle.. there for i am not installing the ecu just yet... as i cant let my new baby idle.. standard ecu / injectors will be installed ( injectors got tested for $165 and i will sell the injectors for $250 later on after initial run / test is achieved) . after testing is done ill install my fuel system and tow to my tuner ( trent @ status ) to see what she can do now all thats left is time... and some front drive shaft boots and were getting there Pics below .
  7. Hahah no problem did u go from the ecu harness ? Or at the afm plug end?
  8. Could be rings could be glazed bores could be valve guides worn.... Everything else ok? Boosting fine? The amount of times I've seen boost hoses installed wrong pressurising the crankcase is it blowing out the dipstick ? Do a cylinder leakage test 100%
  9. I would say inspect turbo first make sure blades are ok nothing went through them chek shaft play etc then get ur hands on a stethoscope and keep snapping throttle to 4 or higher thousand rpm or when it whistles and using the stethoscope pin point the leak
  10. Also am I just teeing into the wire or cutting it and replacing the afm wire with the map wire? Sorry about all the questions but their just not answered anywhere
  11. I went through the hassle of this not long ago if ur running a high vol oil pump eg tomei, the trust ext is shit you will be best off paying Racepace $1500 for their 9ltr sump includes extended pickup and fittings for drain/ breathers If standard the trust extension is prolly an upgrade but waist of time in my eyes
  12. Ok thanks mate, there's one green one blue wire do they have a number or u can wire any of them to any afm sensor wire aslong as the vac line u put to the nipple corresponds to what afm wire you put to that sensor?
  13. I'm in a position were I've searched for 2 hrs now with no resault, I need to know which afm wires to the ecu go to which map sensor Eg does AFM ® which in the Nissan manual is pin 26(sig ground) and 27 (intake air signal) go to map sensor on port 3 or port 4? And which wire goes to which wire Afm (nil) pin 34 (ground) and 35 (air sig) ® is afm closest to p/s reservoir this is by Nissan manual other afm is unnamed (lower) I can't find a d-jetro instruction manual at all anywhere My cars a r33 Gtr s3 I own all rb26 manuals so I got wire diagrams n shit but no apexi info and paulr33s site stopped updating info Hope someone can help not getting a mech to do it I only trust myself on my car Thanks guys
