somedays mine is perfect, others its all over the place
seems to be if you are giving the car some stick, then it tends to be more likely to idle all over teh shop

i discovered a quiet exhaust is a pretty large restriction

if its crashing after a short period, its most likely heat related
take the side of hte case off and point a pedestal fan in there and see if that helps
unplug everything, take everything appart and clean it
make sure all your fans are spinning

mercury originally tuned my car, not too bad
