That would be cool to catch up, but it all depends on the time and if i can find my way around Sydney!! Yeah i like the idea of the de badging make the car look cleaner/smoother or something but i do like it. I am getting a mechanic to look at it today, i am sure all will be good as its only done 50000km ish just for piece of mind!! I am not sure which i am more excited about the drive back to tas or getting the car, i guess its both as you cant do one with out the other, No its the car!!

Hi all Unfortunately it has come time to sell my r31 gts, My plans where to stick a rb25 in it and have it as a daily driver / project car, but the sedan is getting a bit small for our needs so we are buying a wagon and we have no need for two cars. Body- good condition with some stone chips, small scrap LH bumper. Interior- good condition no rips Engine- doest use any oil or blow any smoke, has 210000km on clock, noisy lifters when starting not all the time Suspension- new bilstein shocks all round, king springs, bushes Diff- still has LSD but the whine is getting pretty noisy looking to get $5000 neg

Well after three weeks of waiting for finance to come through it has finally been approved!!!! I fly up to sydney on the 17th (next week) to pick the car up and drive back to tassie the following day, what better way to come acquainted with a new car then a 10hr drive! i do have one question, the car is registered in nsw so will i have to pay stamp duty there and also when i re register it in tas? here is a picture of my new car cheers

a little off topic, but is there any advantage of a oil cooler for ever day use. maybe disadvantage if oil doesn't warm up? Im thinks oil cooler on turbo engine makes sence

Surly the stagea doesn't use that much fuel that you have to get them converted to gas or am i missing something. The reason i ask is i am looking at getting one (all going well) and all this talk of converting them to gas is getting me worrried

Hey there The switch that you are talking sounds like it could be to heat up your wipers, you can tell by having a close look at your windscreen, if it does have the heating elements in the glass they are orange in colour and usually have three long strips where your wipers sit in the off mode. If the heating elements are in the black part of the glass (ceramic) it will be very hard to see but you should see them. If you do happen to have the heated windscreen make sure you have glass cover on you insurance, if you think the price of a normal windscreen for a stagea is expensive wait till you find out how much a heated one is!!!!

If your still looking for a r31 I might be selling my gts1. I was looking at buy that half cut of felix but i think it might be time for a wagon, you can only fit so much into a sedan.

you can get a few types of glass for sides and rear glass, Security glass, which is pretty dark usually blackish and is only on the rear,cargo and rear doors, front doors are left clear green tint, hard to notice unless you put a sheet of white paper behind it bronze tint, not that dark but you can tell its on there clear, all tints are in glass what ever your side glass is your rear window will be the same, The stagea's came out with green (i think) or security glass if the rear has been tinted with after market tint and they are removing it make sure the dont stuff your demister wires. Hi all I am currently looking at getting a stagea and just have a couple of questions, if anyone could help. Its a 1999 awd Manual rs4 neo 1. its only got 50000km ish on the clock, is that right or can they be wound back, being digital i wouldn't have thought so,and if so any way of checking I read on one of these forums some where that someone can do checks 2. do the front cv wear out quickly on these 3. Has any one dealt with Japandirect in nsw, any good or bad feed back would be good, maybe pm with this answer so as no one gets in trouble 4. How do you go with insurance and do you recondmend any one. 5.any othere tips any help would be good cheers
