it is sounding like this sunday for a meetup in a car park I am just waiting to talk to a couple of people which will be tomorrow and then i will put a time up, after we can go for a short drive or for a beer what ever, i reacon it will just be a short meet as a few people will be hungover and have stuff to do but least we will get a chance to finally meet up

well the cruise has kind of gone to s#!t, It all got to hard, 3 days after posting the idea and people are carrying on already, So I am organizing a meet and great hopefully next weekend with just the stagea guys would next sat or Sunday work for you, let me know when you are free, all going well we should get about 7 stag. the guy you work with is his name Adrian? let him know too

that was I, you should have pulled in one of the guys that work there owns a stag also well i reckon the cruise thing will take some time to get off the ground so even just a meet up in officeworks car park next weekend, it will give me some time to get a few other stag guy

the sidling is always a option (very good road) If we went down that way we could carry on down to st Helens which is very similar to the sidling in places, The idea about the targa stages is a good, I might have to spend some time on google maps doesnt matter what cars come along, might be safer if you where driving a nissan, even if you needed to replace your holden badge with a nissan badge where we go will mainly depend on how many Hobart people are keen, if we its just people from the north then we will stay up here I am starting to think i might just have to say I will be at this car park on this date and time to go for a cruise and who ever wants to come, come along, sound harsh but i have seen alot of these crash because it gets all to hard

well so far so good, 2 is a good start lol I am thinking up over the lakes and down to tunbridge and meet up at ross or tunbridge with the cascade drinkers any ideas would be good

yeah we seem to be off to a slow start but hopefully we will get there, even if we still had the boat going from Sydney to Tas you would still drive down to Melbourne and catch the boat over because driving is a lot more fun then sitting on a boat cheers

looked at your pictures and yes the mould that goes along the top and sides is the mould with the two legs, the uni mould would be the best way to go as your retainer doesn't look the best of condition, you also wouldn't need the two metal pieces at the bottom, cheers,

The genuine mould has two legs that come off the bottom, one clips into the retainer which is stuck to the body and the other pushes into the glue, the hardest part of getting a second hand mould out is they normally stretch or snap, if you can get one then yes you can just push it in without taking the window out. the second leg always tears off so you are only left with the leg that clips in to the retainer, it will be enough to hold it in place, If you do get one with the two legs then you need to cut that leg off as the glue is dry and you will never get it in place. I hope that makes sense and helps cheers as i said in my early post all the ones i have seen have the after market mould, I am 95% this is how it is as most nissans of this time have this set up.

yeah leave the bottom part on there they should be able to get it looking quiet nice, most nissans that have that setup have the same problem, depending on how much sun they get that price is a good price, I hope it all goes well, there is nothing worse then having moulds or plastic strips going hard and making the rest of the car looking a little shabby

whats the problem with yours? has the mould started to come out or started going out of shape? you could go to nissan and get a price on a genuine mould, all the 32 i have seen have had the rear mould replaced by ether the vn/vp mould or the next size up. if you put a after market mould ( vn/vp ) then you need to remove and refit the rear window to put the mould in as they go in together. If you get a genuine mould then you can replace the mould with the window still in the car ( i think)

tassie is the place to be, yeah i think we have gone off topic a little LOL, I will find out the price for you, they are norm $124 for the first and $70 for everyone after that, or get insurance to pay anytime you are keen to meet up just let us know, even just a meet and great

yeah it gets like that, i think the only way you will find out is if you go there your self, people can only tell you what happened to them and most of the time they make it out a lot worse than it was! I have only got tires and 4 wheel alignment and car inspection there, they seemed to know what they where talking about, Rons Auto is where any work gets done on the stag. and no i am not the guy from autobarn, iam the guy from o'brien auto cheers

gday there you mentioned thats you where going for a second opinion, good choice as i took my car to pedders a few years ago and they did the same something, gave me a list of things thats needed replacing, I didnt bother getting any of it done except for the front shocks which is what i took it in there for, then took it to flemmings for a wheel alignment and asked them to check it over and non of the things they said, needed replacing, the only places i would take the stag to is Ron's auto Boost Flemmins (not sure on the spelling with that one) chees
