  1. Finally a fitment place with a 33 sedan on it !
  2. Yeah agree with you on looking cheap and possibly not doing a great job of cooling. Aluminium does transfer heat well, but it would really need to be mounted with fins running front to rear of the car to work the best. I'd stay clear of it.
  3. He did all the engine work on a drag ute we use to have. Highly recommend Darren as an engine builder
  4. Give Vince a shot, he's just next door to Japanese Import Spares. He told me on thursday he should have a few around the workshop
  5. I'd go 18x8 or8.5 +35 offset and go the bronze colour on a dark car.
  6. ^Permapine logs can put a stop to that!!!!!! Hey Pete, you may know my sister-in-law, just with the workcover and Crown Prosecutor thing. Probably a shot in the dark though!
  7. Looks like the remains of a plastic bag on your exhaust, nothing to worry about. I run 38psi in my 18" with no dramas. Also remember, new tyres have a mould release agent on them. This takes a few km's to wear off.
  8. It is a structual point, hence why its spot welded in place. A strut brace will improve rigidity if you remove it, but some extra bracing might help. Like you can see in the pic Dave posted.
  9. +2 for being cheap shite, had 265/35/18 on the back of mine, FOR A VERY SHORT TIME! Couldn't wait to ditch them. Alot of places just use them for compliance. Deadly in the wet!
  10. Yeah if the injector is shagged it might not be shutting off when it should, thus letting fuel seep into the cylinder. If your getting one fixed you may aswell do them all.
  11. I remember seeing a short wheelbase patrol with a RB26 and a big single hanging off the side in a magazine last year. This thing was crazy!
  12. I'll vouch for Vince too Mitch, top bloke! Saw a black 32 getting sideways on to main north off maxwell rd about 6:30pm, RIGHT IN FRONT OF A COP CAR, and yes the chase was on! 3 black 33's on the way to pick the missus up from town about 5:30pm.
  13. May have been me. Was up that way just before lunch. Went to see my mate at his bakery.
  14. Or you could grab a 33 GTR factory metal cat, run one in mine, bout $100 from a compliance place. Good flow too!
  15. Best do an oil change too once its up and running, fuel has probably seeped past the rings and into the sump, diluting the oil. And i would be pointing the finger at a leaking injector for the cause.
  16. If you've got water in your intercooler the temp would be the least of your worries
  17. I've always been told sedan rear bars are different to the coupes, but you might be right Steve, cant see them changing the mounts too much.
  18. 20" on a R33
  19. Im a big fan of the Do-Luck kit on 33's or even Wise Sports. Or if you want to go really individual you could go AB-FLUG. Got Hyper Rev here if you want to borrow it mate for inspiration. Damn me for having a sedan, bugger all available!
  20. I agree with the post i read on the last page. If a defect is suposed by the police but regency find it isn't, i really dont think we should have to pay the inspection fee. Might be a way of cutting down the amout of defects issued. And yeah Pete, that did clear it up, makes alot of sense really.
  21. I nearly needed a box of tissues after picking up the magazine. Cars a real credit to you
  22. Hey Pete does the ICV come into for the fact it is basically built from a modified frame and not just a customised factory bike? Just interested thats all. Excellent looking bike you have there too
  23. As for legal height 345mm front and 355mm rear, from top of wheel arch to centre of hub
  24. Whats said on the forum stays on the forum :laughing-smiley-014:
  25. me +1, should be able to drag the better half to this one.
