  5. very classy
  6. That sounds like the kind thing mind does some times too. I unplug it and replug it in on the first menu, it then re-configs and its ok, then the pedals shit themselves! Mine has alway had the problem since I got it out of the box.
  7. Any one had dramas with the pedals dropping in and out mid game? Is there an easy fix? I find if you reset the unit and let the wheel re-config its ok for a couple of min, but I'm over it.
  8. 26motorsport has an r32 one.
  9. Have a look at www.trdc.net.au Mark Connolley from Melbourne leaves his Porsche down here now instead of taking it home. The racing is competitive, but pretty clean.
  10. JML was also the creator of Targa Tasmania.
  11. If your car hit the track a bit more it might be a good idea! They are in and a quick drive told us they are not bad out of the box. Will be setting them up properly at Basky afer Targa. Have also got G4 8 piston front brake kits now too!
  12. Hey Woolls - The bloke that bought my old 200SX has a spare set of S14/R33 rims he wants to get rid of. They are painted black and have 80% worn r tyres on them.

  14. Well we usually get a few Victorians come down for each round including Mark Connolly - Porsche 968 RS Turbo and Daniel Shultz - Mitsubishi Evolution 6 TME. Jump on the Spirt fo Tas Saturday night, race all day Sunday and shoot back overnight ready for work Monday morning.
  15. I'm selling a 4" HKS for $42k... and I'll even through in a R32 GTR!
  16. This car will be at Targa Tasmania HQ during the event for inspection.
  17. Yeah with everything else you have on the car its almost a waste not to wait and get a good turbo. I would personally go for a rebuilt RB25 turbo, its a proven product and unlike the KKR is a very simple fit. Providing whoever you source it from knows what they are doing you will not suffer much lag either. Eitherway, going from 135 to 200 will be an un-real feeling... for atleast a few weeks until you want more again!
  18. An R33 RB25 turbo with replacment steel turbine wheel - 3", intercooler, ecu ect it would be good for 200ishkWs 16-18psi depending on tune. Thats a similae set up to most of the GTSts on the track. If your after budget new why not consider a KKR - 210kW at the wheels with 11.5psi. You'd buy on new for early $800s.
  19. Does anyone know what the length of GTR wheel studs are?
  20. Pics and details here: http://www.targa.org.au/Targa/downloads/ve...enson%20GTR.pdf Other higher res versions can be emailed. Looking for $42k ono and willing to consider cash and a GTSt for it. PM me or call 0412 868 979
  21. I have no doubt of that Duncan, but being in the top ten doesn't really mean you have a chance of winning anything; look at Targa Tasmania 2005 - third place finished almost nine minutes ahead of fourth!
  22. Talk to the entrants of these cars and you'll find they don't share you opinion. As we have until 2008 to sort the new regs I'm sure it will be rectified before anyone has to fire sale a GT3!
  23. Traitor!
  24. About 1100kg and 260kws would get you there... plus some fiddling here and there!!
  25. The first set of new G4 Racing coilover suspension arrived in the state today for Paul Morgan's 350+kW FD RX7. I'll keep everyone updated, but they appear to be as good as expected and very good value. Particularly with the custom spring rates I ordered these with for better road compliance for our awesome but bumpy Tassie roads – he has super sprints and hillclimbs in mind. Will slip some under my GTR or a GTSt shortly to workout a good set up. I reckon they just look cool, check out the pics - http://bensonmotorsports.com
