he took off his cam cover that morning cos his intercooler piping was hitting the fan when he gained boost so though would take it off to have more room. But he didnt align the timing thing properly and the timing is now all fktt so ye.... He got it towed home but the assh*les at racv charged him 300 just to tow to sunshine cos the BP was considered as the COUNTRY...... But ye had to stop in lorne i felt rat that we were crusing having fun and he was sitting in his car for 3 hours on side of road. But until then i had a good time... Was good time well worth joining sau vic looking forward to more club events =]

thats wat happened to me, except all 6 pistons were just fktttt....... It was the bad fuel and topped it when i took it to echuca ....... My friend has access to echuca Airport after hours and its insane man....... but ye now a rebuilt engine with forgies and i will never treat her with standard unleaded again.... Giving my 33 normal unleaded is like slapping god in the face.... YOU JUST DONT DO IT hahahahahaha

if u get the stock turbo highflowed it shouldnt get too much turbo lag at all. Maybe if was abit bigger then would start to lag. But the turbo size is fine for the engine so shudnt be too much lag. The smaller the less lag

the only difference it makes is if u get high boost and then drop into neutral or gearing down with clutch in the car may stall.... I have the stock bov and a blitz ssq on cooler piping and when i get high boost it sometimes stalls or goes low rpm for like a slit second and goes back to normal....

was good cruise i had to pull out at lorne same wit mate wit 32 gtr n gtst cos one of our mates with silver gts4 timing just went nuts 600m when we left so had to turn back for him... But until then i had a ball

do what u want man ur car.... start off with the slow mods FMIC and shit like you already said, bigger turbo etc just wait for that and save because if you go for bigger turbo u will need to get engine work too internals like pistons get forgies etc injectors fuel pump with mine all im currently doing is installing hybrid FMIC and thats it , got that on with a dose pipe and forged pistons but need a tune as when i go over 4 1/5 revs engine starts pinging but ye keep it stock for now save and when you wanna cut sick with the mods do it all at same time

not saying its no better than mine haha ofcourse man its 1000 but i just meant in the way that how he was talking about it... Like is turned an eclipse into this unbeatable machine camparing the piece of sh*t to a gtr thats outrageous HAHA.... ahk mad..... thanks.... like i know you dont really need to do anything when installing the cooler..... as we installed a hybrid cooler on mates 32 and all was sweet...... Was just curious because we all know the 33 ecu is diff to 32 ( 32 can take more boost where 33 cuts out when too much) but in that case ill be installing cooler haha........ im trying hard to make car look good as....... its got gtr front bodykit......... gtr rims........... blitz nur spec r exhaust.... engine wise got noting extra.....dont really want to as im on my p's...wanna wait till 21 then get gtr....for now just minor mods..... thanks heaps luke

hey all im buying a FMIC tomorrow.....and before i do just wanted to know if i need to get it tuned will it idle shit etc......... any info would help..... I know r32 works fine but r32 ecu is better than 33 so thought would need a tune......

ur problem is a piston problem..... i had the same problem when i got high boost white smoke out exhaust...... opened dipstick and oil cap and smoke coming out....... one or more of your pistons has fkt up and thats whats causing it....... and the oil in the cooler piping isnt the turbo its the crack in the piston rings allowing oil to drip down into where exhause fumes are and spraying out ur turbo....... Mine got that bad that instead of my Blitz BOV release pressured air was releasing oil haha.... your looking at engine re-co if you get it done get forgies too extra 300-400 and well worth it

dude check if the stock bov's are blocked someone may have blocked them to get the compressor surge

ye that happened to both my mates in their r32's........ the way i can explain the sound is when u put foot down it cuts out and sounds like the car has Bee-R turned on haha its fuel pump...... my mate got a new pump and instantly fixed problem........

hey man i would start off with the HICAS diagnostic test (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/HICAS-Diagnostic-t22193.html) if that comes up fine..... get it checked out ....... hicas light is meant to be off .... get that checked out ye...... when my hicas was doing that in old car i reset the ecu..... dunno if that will help you but if keeps going.... take back to where you got it.......

got a call from the mechanic....... apparently all 6 pistons were damaged and f**ked.... so im getting engine rebuild and new turbo as the oil seal went.... $1500 later its not too bad of a price considering i was out of warranty........ but still not happy that i have to pay anything at all....... but ye thanks for all the advise everyone...... keep you updated as he said if i wanted to chuck in a extra 100 they would put forgies in.... sweeeeet im up for that haha take care

ahkk thats good then.... disregard the post i just sent then...... what i done when i change my sparkies is get a rag with screw driver and put it down the plug and cleaned in there.... drained the engine of the oil(old) and put in some new... started car to move oil around.....drained the rest then topped up the whole thing with new oil.... its stopped the skipping idle and sparks were cool......

i had the same problem... the could would sound like its skipping a idle .... and when i gunned it white smoke would come out exhaust....took no notice of it until it got worse n worse.... what it was in my car was a damaged piston.... which then caused oil to go down thru the manifold and spray oil out the turbo...... If your in melb let me know undo one of the clamps holding the intercooler piping and check if there is some oil in there..... If there is thats your problem

hey man..... first thing.... dont waste your cash ..... its not the o2 sensor.... now do u get white smoke when u gun it? u pull out the spark plugs and their covered in oil and all black? could be the same problem as i have..... if it is DO NOT drive the car with any boost over 5lb...... as if could make the problem worse...... Where u from man ?
