if you need to know details of the studs that are required check out the www.niceproducts.com.au website - all the info you need is there I am having mine replaced, but the biggest problem has been finding wheel nuts to suit my mags .. A workshop told me it's only a 20 minute job to preplace all studs to both rear wheels .. sounds like the easy option to me
-
I'll have to check what else is going on .. and try to get along to this It's been a while ( to long ) since I last went to Saturday Sprints
-
have seen this car fairly often at a certain carpark .. I'm the silver R33 that regularly parks next to it
-
And yet again I didn't see you Dave .. was a long drive in this morning .. that's for sure
-
I might just get there for a look yet flight gets back to Brisbane at 6:05 pm and I have to drive right past Allstar to get home .. won't stay to long tho .. the day will have been rather long by then UPDATE : It has just been pointed out that this is NEXT week .. not tomorrow .. So looks like I will be there to spectate after all
-
Doesn't look like I will be able to make the night even as a spectator as planned .. another trip to Gladstone for me .. and it clashes with yet another SAU event .. if by some miracle I make it back in time I'll get there for a look

Something Wrong With My Loved R33
WiZardOz replied to skyline girl's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Old rear tyres - 255/45/17 = 661.3mm OD and 2076.6mm circumference New rear tyres - 245/35/19 = 654.1mm OD and 2054.9mm circumference 100 kmh with old size rim/tyre is 99 kmh with new rim/tyre, so to get to 100km/h you will need a few extra rpm, but not enough extra that it's going to take 1 second as you can see the new combination with the bigger rims is actually a smaller wheel overall (marginally), seems every1 is assuming you have changed to "bigger" wheels -
They are now enforcing a 90Db limit on cars participating in events at the complex. - Council / EPA requirements. Last time we had a members only SkidPAn event all cars got tested before being allowed on the SkidPan As a side note I also noticed on the Dutton Rally site that all participating vehicles are required to meet a 90dB level (ie .. the legal limit)
-
What side of town are you coming from ??? Dave & myself are from the Northside if that's any help
-
Added to list Thanks for the kind words Ska
-
No there will be NO come backs from this ... last SkidPan event there was a number of cars that "failed" but there was no problems .. just meant that those cars couldn't use the facility Mt Cotton are only concerned with meeting the EPA obligations for the facility

I had a CES split dump and installed a fair while ago ... I was more than happy with the difference it made (R33 Gtst) The split dump cost $650 for one of the coated ones (through a group buy here on the forums) looking at the dyno graph : Difference on my car between Std. Dump and the CES split dump one was 10 rwkw ( just over 6 % increase ) , Torque went up by about 7 % I have a Electronic Boost Controller so therefore that's an increase due to better flow & less turbulance rather than an increase in realised boost pressure since then I have also installed a CES hi-flow cat at the same time as fitting a PFC so can't tell you what sort of gain I picked up with that

Where can I read about this re-opening ??? I have read the EOI and it looked to me like just another step in the process of closing it down, the existing site reports contained in the document indicated to me that sh*tloads of money would need to be spent to make it a viable option to re-open I want it open .. only 10 minutes up the road from my place

I didn't see you stopped .. but that explains why I couldn't catch you after you went past while I was having a smoke break and checking out the storm.. I pushed it down the mountain hoping to catch up, after a while I caught a couple of slower moving cars and thought that somehow you must of overtaken them. Got the car in the garage at home about 2 mins before it poured, but didn't get any hail and I'm only a couple of k's from you Excellent day and thanks go out to all involved
