  1. Hey mate, Yeah - i jumped on that one as soon as it was listed a few months ago - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ni...ec-t288722.html Cheers anyway for the tip!
  2. Spotted a non turbo silver r34 in rouse hill shops around 3:00 yesterday afternoon and then that night saw a standard S2 KR4 r33 gtst parked in castle towers
  3. Will keep searching locally, however there is nothing i have seen that has interested me over the past few months. We'll have to see whether top secret find one first or if one locally pops up first! Local ones have either been the wrong colour, spec or just absolutely thrashed. I just want a standard vspec with average k's in bayside blue. If i wasnt worried about the colour - i've seen numerous pop up in auction or locally that have tickled my fancy - but i know i'll regret it if i get one! I'm also fascinated with the whole import thing, seems to add a more personalised touch to the car and seems like it will be a pretty interesting experience so i want to give it a try. I dont really want to pay that little bit more for one with 20 or 30k on the clock because i'd just be adding to it anyway. This car will most likely be driven as a daily, not just kept in a garage and admired like my R33 was. I am aiming for either a 1999 or 2000 model, and my budget (although it will remain private - is definately more than fair for the car that i desire - if anyone really needs specifics, just PM me). Lets see what happens, atleast theres no rush - i have all the time in the world to wait for the right one to pop up!
  4. One day i'll take 2 porches for a test drive, then find some random big house and park them in the driveway for a few pics aswell
  5. Current model, ultra portable and extremely thin (this one is even thinner than the standard mini!) Intel atom 1.6ghz, 10.2 inch widescreen, 2gb ram, 60gb hard drive, built in webcam, Windows 7 Ultimate - etc. The laptop has been rarely used and is still in excellent condition. It is the thinnest HP Mini currently available! It is also very easy to use with the 92% full-sized keyboard and bright and clear 10.2 inch wide screen. The laptop is currently running Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (with windows aero) and also has Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, Frontpage, Publisher - etc). The original box, instruction manual and genuine AC adaptor / charger is also included. Any questions? You can contact me any time on 0434 929 257. I have a habit of browsing the site without signing in so tend to miss some important messages, so please update this thread if you do send me a PM! Cheers!
  6. Nice car mate! Those are some really great shots!
  7. You only need 1 thread to sell a car mate - not 9. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/95...tr-t296856.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/95...tr-t296557.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/95...le-t294145.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/95...le-t293695.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/95...le-t293111.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Br...tr-t295665.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Br...tr-t296464.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/95...le-t292387.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/95...le-t292634.html
  8. just saw your messages, cheers for the heads up on that car today guys! that one would have been out of my range for sure. im expecting something with average k's on it!
  9. Hi all, Quick update. Just got off the phone to Garry. A car is going through auction tomorrow - its a 2000 model R34 GTR, bayside blue and grade 4.5B. After looking at the auction sheet, I have found that the only problem is - its non vspec! Have told Garry I'm happy to let this one slip and wait for a vspec to pop up. Perfect grade, perfect colour - but unfortunately not the perfect spec! I have attached auction info and pics to this post. I would also prefer one with a standard front bumper and standard rims Will let you all know of updates as they are available. Cheers!
  10. hey mate, no - not yet. will update thread when info is available. cheers
  11. thanks mate, sold her about a month ago! if you want more pics, there are some in this thread - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pi...tr-t281533.html
  12. Yeah, I figured that she wasnt the one that blew the bottom end. Looking back, this was a shame - would have been easy to work out a deal on it, just so local!
  13. i thought that since vista service pack 1, 32 bit windows will now read that there is 4gb+ of ram or however much is installed, however - as per the limitations of a 32 bit operating system, it can only and will only use a percentage of the installed ram? i remember reading that the feature was added due to people installing more than 4 gb and raising alot of questions as to why it was only reading as 3gb or 3.2gb - etc. so it now gives you a spill of how much is actually in there and thats it.
  14. im hoping the revised model (series 2? presuming there will be one?) will incorporate some of the 'necessities' highlighted in this thread. either way, give it around 3 years - i'll probably be buying and driving one regardless if it has ipod input, auto wipers or 'audio HD'.
  15. is this on car sales? if not - i suggest you try and fix the paint (if you have the cash), put a $100 cd player in it, take some great pics and put it on at around $13,000. you'll probably get it. just because its cheap on here doesnt mean its suss, it just gives off that cheap feel - which is probably why it has not sold. if i still had my car sales ad active, i'd give it to you! haha hope this helps, good luck with the sale!
  16. They are the main differences, and also the lower lip. Heres a few pics of my series 3 that i took when i put it up for sale. Hopefully this will help you tell the difference between the series 3 and the earlier R33 GTR's
