angle grinder with 1mm disk, that what i used, can get pretty damn accurate. it's all about making it easy / cheating. i use a program on the computer thats designed for making cones from sheet metal, and you can then print out the template, trace it, cut, rotate, trace and cut. then cleanup the cuts with a file. a drop saw is on my purchase list:P

tape worked out really well. i took it all off, cleaned each piece up then rebuild the section with tape leaving a small gap to get the mig in there. i wont be welding them up as i dont have the equipment.

did mine myself. scrubbed the block with a truck degreasing detergent washed it with white spitirit. and then wirebrushed it, followed by grease/wax remover then paint.

you do realise powdercoating is baked in an oven, and the rim must be sandblasted beforehand. just find new stickers. a place at sumner park does them 65 a rim minus sandlbasting charge.
