if anyone read, the judge's alcohol limit was 0.25 something.. 4 times the legal limit!! WTf?? for a police to break the law, that's already bad enough, but a judge? Drink driving, ok that's bad, and then adjusting the course of justice by taking the other sample, and being a judge....? this bloke deserves capital punishment...dats like an extremely serious crime a wel.. but i'd bet, they just find some stupid reason and say how he served the public for many years, and blah blah blah and how he was important..etc.etc. den give him a little fine and a 3month license suspension or something without any criminal charges. *sighz**

Hope this helpz..=)

i seee umm wat about GTR? is the R in the GTR actually related to the RB series? or totally different? will the "new" gtr be called a gtr? or?

ohh one more thing if the R33 is ECR33, and 2.0L is the HR33...etc. then what is the specific chasis model for the V35? One thing that im kinda confused about is that, if nissan didnt really base the "r"32,33,34 on the RB engine or the "s"13,14,15 on the SR engine... then why would the new skyline be called a V35, if its not named afta the VQ engine or? The thing i dun really get is, is there any particular type of pattern which nissan uses to name there cars? From all the information that you guys have posted, what i am assuming is that the model no. or Chassis family of the car is named/based on the Specific Chassis code for the car. Am i correct when i say this?

What i gather is the the V35, is the new skyline officially released in japan, while the G35 is simply a name given to the american version of the V35, which was officially released in america. Sorta like the japanese silvia and 200sx thingy....so is that correct? oh thankss for the info guys!!

Im having this huge argument with my mate about the new skylines, and i even got my skyline on the line as a bet if im wrong. But i no im right... anyways he keeps saying there is something called a R35, and when i tell him about the R32,33,34 being named after the RB engines...and the S13,S14,S15 named after the SR engines...and well he is saying, why were the R30, R31 named that way when they aint using an RB engine or are they? which i am curious about....? so why were the R30 and R31's named the way they were....? And i also explained how they new skyline with the VQ35DE engine and because of this its called the V35. But then he is like why isnt the 350z start with a V as well, which is my second question? basically what im trying to ask, does nissan have a pattern in how they name their cars? apart from the silvia's and the skyline's....which were named aftert he engine types, im quite unsure about other nissans. But like the GtiR which has the SR20det in it...why was that named the way it was? giving you an idea of insurance for an r33 gtst your looking around the 3500 - 5000 mark depending on company, age, area etc. etc. my insurance was 3600 wen i was 18 leaving in sydney and that's with famous..... jsut cars is another story tho

umm i had exactly the same problem..i got my car wheel balanced and also the hub locater thingy done and the problem was still there. What i foudn was that my rear side mirror was the thing shaking. I always thought that my back window was shaking sso i was like wTF???...but den i figured my rear side mirror shakes whenever i go over 100. I have no idea why tho.......i still have figured out how to fix this...its quite weird actually

Yeah..i dun think i will be going with fire and theft either...not really worth it..but still deciding... and drewecrome, i changed from famous to JC, because famous cancelled my insurance after they found out i had my license suspended, they also told me that they wont cover me for 3 years. So gonna change from full comp to third party with JC........ And yeah keep us posted duncan with the claim case...i hope i never have to make a claim..but just in case..=)

well i can't exactly ask the just cars insurance company, hey if i say my car is worth less than it really is, will my preimium go down? like i cant exactly ask them dat can i? so im just tryin to get some opinions from more experienced people who have been through the same process im about to go through and have dealt with just cars as well..I find insurance companies try to rort you more then they like to help you...so i rather trust people who are in the same shoes as me, and thus fellow skyliners.

hey guys, im about to change from full comp insurance with famous to third party fire n theft with justcars. Well i just got quoted by just cars, and there was a part in the excess section that im not quite sure of. It says: • An additional excess of $400 applies to your policy due to the modifications to your car. This excess will need to be contributed to each claim for loss or damage, including theft. when it says ".....contributed to each clam for loss or damage, including theft" does that mean that when the mod itself is actually stolen or damaged that they will cover and replace my mod? Im not quite sure what that means exactly. Can someone explain so does dat mean that if i dont state the modson my premium, the premium it mite be lower and i wouldnt have to pay the extra $400 excess if it gets stolen or damaged? Also one last thing....does the purchase price of the car affect my premium? I bought my car for 25k and if i undervalue it and state that i purchased for 20k, would that reduce my preimium price by much if any? Thanks in advance......
