  1. Thankyou. you saved me heaps of time. Shame the filter got stuck on . Oh well the screw driver trick to the rescue. And for next time i used the k&n oil filter with the nut on the end to save me future grief .
  2. My Passenger Side Window motor is busted. I have been told that this is a common problem in the 35's.
  3. I know your being serious but........ I generally use the air con buttons to control the temperature (you know the up and down) being serious.... what do you mean by this. what is there to adjust other than the temperature and this is on a digital scale ??? You have me confused. Oh and Geoff mine seems to work ok, however I don't use it often. I prefer to do things myself.
  4. I had a set on mine. They were feathered to hell. Swapped them for semi-cheapies until i can find better. Got Nexen N-5000. They are OK but not good. It bought my sanity back though. I'll be looking for a better set real soon though.
  5. HAHA, I wouldn't bet against someone flying you somewhere to fix a 35 eventually Chris. And hi to the new guys.
  6. ouch. Hope you get it fixed mate. Let us know the $$ damage in case it happens to one of us in the future. Some asshole drove over the front bar of mine with a 4wd. Only a tiny scratch that I buffed out. The asshole even left the carwith his number plate on top of my front bar!!! He was lucky that I didn't kick in the entire front half of his car before I drove off.
  7. Was the only V35 Coupe there.
  8. I hear that Mr Choy loves a good man grope That Right hand is definitely heading south
  9. To the organisers. Nice Work. Can't wait until next year. MORE PICS OF MY CAR PLEASE!!!!!!!
  10. Quick lets get together at 123 Doughnut St for a street race. I'll bring lots of Naws! ------------------------------------------ Seriously the appeal to idiots should be glaringly obvious, I mean Today Tonight and it's clone do well enough. Kids these days..............
  11. All those setups look sweet! The NA sound of the vQ35 engines is awesome.
  12. Missed a step mate... Step 1.5: Bolt on a F*N ridiculously large turbo and pump through ludicrous amounts of boost.
  13. Can't speak for the Z tube as mine is currently in transit. The K&N filter adds a bit of intake noise but make the whole car sound that much sweeter. The Z-tube will make the most diff. Let us know how the two go.
  14. They look nice in black. Welcome.
  15. Yep that's the guy i bought mine off. I got mine a bit cheaper when the $AUD was a bit higher. Considering ordering off Nissan costs a heap more than that even $70 is a good price. I got mine 7 days after paying.
  16. is.... 1. Having a lifetime Holden fan admit that your car is better than his 2. Listening and feeling the mechanical symphony every time you press your right foot to the floor. 3. Being pulled over by a cop to ask what car is that? And chatting to him for 15 minutes without fear of getting a defect.
  17. well the pic looks legit to me - for a sedan. if they are legit and you get them for that price it's a steal. I say pay with Paypal and if they aren't genuine as advertised then lodge a dispute.
  18. Honestly who cares what badge is on it. It's a Skyline even if some tool dropped a Holden badge on one! Of course the Holden badge would have to come off and be burned Just get the car you want and don't live in hope of some vapourware ever showing up.
  19. I have no idea about the V36 try the US sites like my370.com etc welcome to the forums.....
  20. That was the screwdriver i used. They are the 18" factory rims. Mine are darker than most. It's just a coating as there is a chip on one (you can see in the pics).
  21. Got mine off an EBAY seller in the states. $55 delivered. They are more expensive now due to exchange rates. Beware of the real cheap non genuine items!
  22. Seems fine to me the whole indicator still lights up. Ill drop an extra pic in later to show you. It is a Nissan bulb so should be sweet.
  23. All, I got photo happy when installing my genuine nissan Clear indicators. I hope this helps someone else out. It will take you less than 15 minutes, all I used was a screwdriver and a rag (to clean up gunk behind old indicators). Parts: Step 1 - Pop out old light (be careful not to scratch) Step 2 - Once Light is out disconnect the bulb from the surround by turning 45 degrees Both indicators side by side Step 3 - Remove the old bulb - DO NOT TUG ON WIRES!. Use the plugs for leverage please and a screw driver like pictured if it is stubborn. Step 4 - Clean up gunk that built up behind old indicator (only necessary if you are anal like me) Step 5 - All Clean Step 6 - Test Hopefully it works. Step 7 - Insert bulb into the indicator (will only go in one way). You will then need to lock the bulb into place by turning back 45 degrees. Step 8 - Place indicator back in place Step 9 - Firmly press in and your done on the first side. Step 10 - Rinse and Repeat with other side. You will need to turn the wheel back the other way first or your wheel will get in the way. All done. Make sure to test again, then go for a drive to further test.
  24. hmm....... very interesting.... Chris, stop tempting me with all these toys, you'll send me broke!!!!
  25. mine has a slight noise like you describe that i can hear. but i also hear the lumpy sounds the others refer to. Go pretend to want to buy one and take more for a test drive if you are scared. I'm sure its normal though. you'll soon find out.
