  1. Okay Guys and Gals I removed the Skyline badges and will try this for a while. I can always remove more later if I want. First of all I used Colgate Dental floss (the plastic Lid was perfect for scraping the goo after the badges came off) Then I used Polyglaze bug and tar removed. 3 minutes and two applications later (minimal rubbing) and the goo was all gone Closer Peek And last of all, always have a helper
  2. I'm keen if I'm not on-call on Sunday. As one of the resident Newbies around here I'm keen to get out in my V35.
  3. You missed my point......... Think Vin Diesel..... Think Bad Ricer Movie....... You'll then get my point. I'll turn down my sarcasm meter next time.... seriously be careful out there mate, but most of all have fun.
  4. Hey mate, who cares about beating people. Harden the F* up and realise you have a better car than a Commonfalconwhore. Be the bigger man and watch them do a looser flyby as they are trying to prove their crated up POS is better than your Skyline with race herratige and pedigree. Just a tip on winning any race, don't forget to double the clutch and not granny shift..... Live your life a 1/4 mile at a time..... Don't forget the NAWS~!!
  5. I was going to import. I chickened out and bought one locally. 99.9% go well from what I can see but i have the luck of the Irish or lack thereof. Works a treat when it goes well but I didn't have the money to gamble on a slight chance it would go pear shaped. I too hope that the situation here pans out for the good. Let us know mate.
  6. Spotted a very Sexeh black coupe at Garden City last weekend. WOW nice ride whoever owned that. They are very tight in black. I saw a silver v35 4 door and he spotted me in my silver coupe just off Warrigal Road, he was turning left off. We both slowed down to admire Damn these are sexy cars!

Hi Guys, Some of you may have seen me on the V35 forums. Live on the southside of Brissy and whilst I am new to Skylines, I am not new to Nissans My somewhat dubious car history has been: 1978 Chrysler Ge Sigma Auto (Pre Mitsubishi one) 1985 Mazda 323 Manual (KB Laser basically) - Twin Carbies and a Sports exhaust 1989 N13 Nissan Pulsar Manual 1990 Nissan S13 Ca18 Manual 1992 Toyota Soarer TT Auto 2003 350GT 6MT Premium I Like Stuff I'm also not very social until you know me and I was born speaking fluent sarcasm. I can also be a downright prick, but that is only because I have a low asshole tolerance. I'm sure I'll meet you all around the traps. I apologise in advance.
  8. When I come to power thou shalt be avenged!!!!! Seriously mate good luck. I hate to see good people pay whilst scumbags sit and grow fatter off our tax dollars........... The unfortunate fact is that busting "hoons" makes headlines due to stupid dunnydore drivers and we fill in the numbers game that win votes come election time... Cleaning up the streets of people like you is obviously a higher priority than getting rid of the badguys who sell drugs to kids Correct me if I'm wrong people.
  9. Haha.... Local QLD Darwin Awards... It would have been a "Kodak" moment.... I be he'll never make detective.
  10. Might start with the Skyline badges and play it by ear. I do like the car above with the Nissan and 350GT badges sans the Skyline.
  11. Exactly as per the topic guys and gals, Should I Debadge my new V35 coupe or not? I am steering towards yes, but comments are welcome.
  12. +1 the V35...... But What do i know anyway I'm new to the skyline scene. The V35 is more of a Z anyways and I Love the old Zs
  13. I wouldn't bother. Most people will think it's just another skyline yadda yadda. But the true believers will be able to spot it. And after all isn't that all that matters rather than proving you have a GTR to one of the numerous commodore bogans out there. My 2c. Nothing wrong with the badge but the money would be better spent making your GTR faster!
  14. Got my baby yesterday. Shot was taken at 3am in a super secret location.
  15. Amen to that. Been driving my 35 around for almost 2 days and I went through the CBD last night (wow). V35's do get a lot of turned heads. Some people are "ooh nice", others are "WTF is that!?". Either way it's all good
  16. Just about to pick mine up 2003 Premium. Quoted $880 in Brissy with Justcar. Same price as my previous car which was a Soarer TT Rating 1 with Rating 1 protection. I am an old fart though compared to you young whipper snappers.
  17. Hi guys, I'm freshly back to the world of Nissans and new to the world of Skylines. Just nabbed myself a v35 Locally: Premium Pack (no Sat Nav - Doesn't work anyway ) 18 Factory Alloys - I love the look of these rims 6 Speed Manual 22k on the Clock Couldn't fault the body work. Test drive a 350Z with a Nismo Exhaust same day, top car! This was cheaper, and even if it hadn't been, It was love at first sight. Here are a few pics and I apologise for the mix bad camera phone pics and ones stolen for my car from the yard's website. I will post some proper pics when I take delivery in two days Can't wait. Nice to meet you all and this forum had a lot to do with me buying this car!
