  1. I literally just got that Fujimi kit in the mail from a Hong Kong based store on eBay. I am so looking forward to putting it together!!!!! I'm taking my bigger stag out of town for a few days to go and stay with family in Geraldine, so I'll have a few days to get started on it. ..and it cost me $NZ60
  2. I'm glad I didn't buy it then :laughing-smiley-014: I've actually seen it out and about, and from the front it pretty much looks like the same as that stag does. I think that C pillar is the same as your average Cefiro.
  3. What is it with these sturdy posts, they're everywhere! ...and don't get me started on those concrete walls! ...eeech, I just realised how dirty my wheels were. I think I might need to go get a wash myself.
  4. The first thing I thought of when I saw that car:
  5. Of all the places to spend New Years... let us know how it turns out
  6. That makes three of us, although it sounds like mine will be the shortest: http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?f=d&sadd...amp;t=h&z=7 I just wanna get out of the city for a while. I've barely left this year, much less driven out. I've already done a run to Oamaru and back and I managed to get 220km on 1/3of a tank. Getting the stag out there on the open road was awesome. I'm planning to spend NYE on top of Mt. John, which has one of the best observatories in NZ. Hopefully it won't be cloudy.
  7. That's a nice S1 there Tangles @ Silhouette: how come you had to go back to stock wheels?
  8. No soup indeed. I checked my S1 this morning, no dice.
  9. I hear that. My sister slams every car door irrespective of breaking it. That auto closer is great when the boot is absolutely full.
  10. In the words of The Mask: "Sssssssssmokin'!"
  11. Jatwreck, I just saw your avitar. That thing makes M35s looks so much better!
  12. I stuffed up one thing about the inverter advice I gave you. Don't buy the jaycar standard ones. You need a pure sinewave inverter, and just so you know, it has to be twice the wattage of whatever projector you get. Sorry about that.
  13. My set up was under $AU1500. I don't use a very powerful projector, because I need my battery to do other little things like start my car and the Toshiba TLP-S10 I use is discontinued. A couple of good alternatives are the Epson EMP-S5: http://www.dse.co.nz/dse.shop/4913c10500c2...duct/View/G7951 or the Acer XD1160: http://www.dse.co.nz/dse.shop/4913c10500c2...duct/View/G7949 (apologies for the nz site) I picked up my head unit second hand for $AU176, but once again. I'd recommend http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?I...mp;SUBCATID=909 http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?I...mp;SUBCATID=909 As for inverters: A 300W inverter should set you right with one of those smaller projectors. I assume your stag has the 12v outlet in the boot. So, this one: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?I...=&SUBCATID= With the setup currently, the DVD unit only has an RCA video out lead (but with a small projector you wouldn't expect HDMI anyway) I've run it through the centre console and out under the side. I then fold the back seats down and place the projector on them and then run the RCA into that and I'm away laughing. I am pretty happy with the factory speakers. To my ears they sound quite good. Hope that helps
  14. Right, I actually got a decent camera this time, so I took some better pics Inside: and a couple from a meet on Saturday:
  15. It's not too bad looking. It's almost like the Porsche Cayenne.
  16. Yeah, Winamp is the tried and true media player for most. It doesn't chew through processor power like Windows Media Player does (I say this, but I still use Windows Media Player)
  17. Hi Basti I can tell you from experience that Winamp has an iPod plugin you can use. Another one that is getting lots of praise at the moment is MediaMonkey There is also a new one coming from the same lot that bought us Firefox. It's called Songbird That's still in beta though, so I suggest you try the others first. Hope that helps
  18. I know Mazda had a similar colour at some stage. I'm getting used to the M35 design. It's still has a bit of that anglularity that could make people think it's a Volvo, but it's different enough to go with the engine change. Guess I'm saying it looks different, but just as good.
  19. Would you call it champaigne or bronze?
  20. lol, thanks. It's the upside of being a techie, I guess. Having access to that sort of equipment. Obviously with that sort of arrangement I can't watch anything while I drive, but with a car like this, why would you want to?
  21. Yeah, I only just realised that. He started the 'We'd talk about Stageas...' thread, right?
  22. That first one, the snow launch, is from a guy on SDU.
  23. I have trawled Youtube for Stagea vids many many times (the upshot of a quiet day at work) so I have many picks. http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=rAUE2AnEqss (thanks to RSFourDan) Of course, the infamous http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=2FnHdd_oGgI (thanks to tailgate) This one, because he's a local http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=wAJ9J902rVk (thanks to SkylineObsession) I like this one, and I would be tempted to get these installed on mine http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=PJeuk451gpg (thanks to hashimotodenki) and last, but not least: http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=CVuKf5VcfXI (thanks to tsispyder97)
