  1. yup, and I have a set of brand new SplitFire coil packs for a 1995+ R33 (also suit R34) if anyone wants them .. unfortunately I got a new car that they do not suit now..
  2. I have found some information that leads me to believe that all of these cars below use the same coil packs: R32 GTS-T (RB20DET) R32 GT-R (RB26DETT) R33 GTS25t (RB25DET) .. up to 12/1994 only R33 GT-R (RB26DETT) .. these ones below all use a different part number from what I can see: R33 GTS25t (RB25DET) .. 01/1995 onwards R34 GT-T (RB25DET) R34 GT-R (RB26DETT)
  3. Tell me what your chassis number is and I will look it up for you on my big Nissan CD of information which contains details of ALL cars built up to early 2002 ..
  4. At the moment most workshops are quoting around $4,500 plus tyres, etc. for all of the popular models including Supra, Soarer, Skyline (R32, R33 & R34), 180SX, etc.. Prices will possibly drop to around $4,000 once there are more compliance workshops around, but it is probably not worth waiting 2-3 months for the sake of only $500. We will be updating the compliance availability page on our website as more workshops get approved, it will list all vehicle types that are currently able to be complied as well as the best prices we find in each state - www.j-spec.com.au/compliance
  5. yes I actually do know that one ... it was most probably made by a company in Japan called Wise Sports - they do a lot of kits that are very "similar" to other well known brands but this is one of their own creations as far as I can tell....
  6. I have heaps of photos of this beast .. here are a few to get you started
  7. call Danny @ AutoTrust on 0403 056 181 - he's based in the SE somewhere and is the best alarm guy I know..
  8. http://www.nispares.com.au - these guys have an R33 shell for sale...

  10. The new scheme started in May 2002 and overlaps the old scheme until it ends in May this year - but to comply cars under the old scheme you have to have them finished before May, so that means shipped out of Japan within about 2 weeks maximum.
  11. unfortunately mine are only 17's but at least they are wide .. 10.5" on the front and 13" on the rear .. I will most likely get 18's eventually unless I can find some 19's at a decent price..
  12. I believe that the wide sedan is not going ahead at this stage because it is basically just too hard... but who knows really..
  13. .. here is another picture for anyone interested ..
  14. They would normally be worth $40,000 to $50,000 but this one is my new beast and obviously not for sale..
  15. Skyline Imports have done a few of them with copies of the original kit, but luckily this one is genuine and even has the super lightweight, super expensive Kakimoto wheels too ... I was so keen to get one of these cars that I even looked at buying one from Skyline Imports, I can't even explain how happy I am with this car now...
  16. you are not just supposed to guess every car you can think of, you are meant to actually know... but, to ease your pain, it is a Kakimoto R33.. you 'aint living until you are riding on 335's
  17. Hmm, some fast response times there guys, but not correct I am afraid... keep them coming..
  18. I just picked up a new beast for myself in Japan, and thought it might be fun to see who knows what it is ... ... another (more obvious) picture will be posted as soon as it is guessed correctly.
  19. We can supply brand new gear knobs that are the same style exactly but they do not have GREX written on top .. they are around $70 each .. a little more if you want a polished finish.
  20. The series 1 headlights line up different to the series 2 lights also, you will never get it to fit correctly if it is the wrong bumper ... we have a 400R mould for a series 2 if anyone needs a copy, priced at around $400.
  21. a lot of Nissan RWD cars can be hard to get into 2nd - generally speaking a change to some good oil in the box will smooth it out.
  22. That is true that the car must meet emission standards, even if it means having to tune the car - but it says nothing anywhere on the engineers certificate about brake pads.. I am surprised that your front pads have been changed by the compliance workshop, and even more amazed if you were not charged for them on top of the other work.
