  1. thank you for this but unfortunately I had already found all of these ones ... ... what I really want is a more details like the actual number of NUR's built each month, all of the colors that they were available in and the total number of NUR's in each color, etc ... I know this is asking a lot but I know this information must be out there somewhere..
  2. I need as much information as possible on the R34 GTR SKyline NUR spec - I am trying to find detailed information on build dates, available colors, numbers built, etc... any help would be great.
  3. We have a members section on our website with cars listed there from almost twice as many auctions as the ones listed in our 'public' upcoming section (a total of more than 35 auctions each week) - the members section also has more photos and Japanese inspection reports for every car. We can also translate the report for any car that interests you as well as having our buyers look over the cars in person whenever possible. You will always get heaps more details about the exact condition of the car before you place any bids (interior, exterior, mechanically, modifications, possible accident history, etc...) I probably should make this information a little clearer on our website - just drop me an email and I will send you a sample of the sort of information that you can expect before buying a car through us... 4. It is great if you can reserve yourself a compliance plate, that way you will be covered for when you are ready to buy a car.. ... we have no problem helping you find a car and still use the plate that you have set aside - just let me know when you are ready to start looking.
  5. if you miss out on getting a compliance plate under the current CPA scheme, then you could have to wait until as late as May 2003 to get a plate under the new SEVS scheme and it will cost at least $2,000 more than now.... without a plate you can't import a car at all so it is eaither buy now and save, or buy later and pay more (imports will dry up for the months in between)
  6. You can import R32 GTS-T coupes without any problems, however the complaince prices are increasing as we speak because there are very few plates left - you can expect to pay around $2,400 for at the moment with prices probably rising to around the $3,000 within the next few weeks. The R32 sedan is not allowed for import at this stage - it probably would be allowed under the new SEVS scheme, but I do not think anyone has submitted as application for it yet - even if it was approved the compliance would have to be done by RAWS workshop and the cost would be at least $4,000.
  7. ... the Skyline R32 sedan has not been approved for import under current laws, so that is out of the question at this stage ... non-turbo Skyline R33 sedans do not meet the necessary power-to-weight ratio so they are not allowed either - you could almost get a non-turbo R33 coupe but that would blow the budget (you could almost get an automatic R33 GTS25t sedan for that price though) There is not much that you can import as far as non-turbo's these days because of the 105kw/ton minimum requirement to be eligible under the SEVS import scheme ... 15 year and older is probably the place to look but there is not much that you would want in non-turbo .. here are the best options: non-turbo Cefiro (not a bad car - probably the best choice) Skyline R30 or R31 (hard to find in non-turbo) RX7 series 4 (most are turbo and only 2 door) ... 8. There are already some R32 sedans running around, but these were imported before the laws changed in May this year. If you look at the current list of approved vehicles, you will clearly see that the R32 is allowed only as a coupe: SEVS ruling - Nissan Skyline R32 ...compared to the R33 Skyline ruling: SEVS ruling - Nissan Skyline R33 This means that if you really want to import an R32 sedan you would NEED to get it approved under the SEVS scheme (which shouldn't be too hard) and then get a workshop to comply it for you ... for a workshop to be able to do this they must either put in an application to import a test vehicle for this model under the new RAWS scheme which will start in May 2003, or already have R32 coupe compliance and apply to extend their CPA number to inlclude sedans.
  9. There are more than one brand of band expander out there, and some work better than others - so make sure you don't buy a crap one if you are going to get one... At a cost of around $30 to $50, it is a small price to pay even if you only use the Nakamichi head unit for a few weeks and then decide to go with the Sony or whatever...
  10. Skyline's do not require a special tool like Prelude's - you can take it pretty much anywhere to get a fair job done. I used to manage a tyre/alignment shop for years and can tell you that most alignment technicians have absolutly no idea what they are doing. I would suggest going to somewhere that only does suspension and alignment work (not just any old tyre shop)
  11. It looks like custom work done by a company in the states called Clear Corners - they have some way to clear the color from any lights, you just send in your lights and wait 2 weeks or something ... maybe intense UV ravs or something? I have seen all sorts of cool things that have been done by these guys, but you can bet that the R33 ones would be very rare as Skylines are almost unheard of over there.
  12. well, it is up again today too - and I have lot of pics showing 400R on the speedo, steering wheel, gear knob, exhaust pipe, etc, etc... also not to mention that it has the ultra rare 2.8L Nismo "RB-X GT2" engine only found in the 400R.
  13. we are looking at trying to buy various kits to clone at the moment for various cars - all we need is a few guaranteed orders for the same kit to off-set the initial cost.
  14. We are lining up a Do-Luck kit for around $4,500 so we can clone it - I expect that the copies will be worth around $2,500 at first to off-set the cost of the original kit ... the more people that are interested, the sooner it will happen.
  15. Yup, it appears to be all above board - he is actually a friend of a friend. I have just purchased a PowerFC through him at a fairly good price - I could have got it for a similar price myself direct from Japan but this is much easier because he arranges delivery direct to your door too.
