QM1 is the paint code for a white R33 coupe - the code is different for the pearl white sedan

Things like brake pads and spark plugs are not compliance issues, so I doubt any compliance workshop would replace them unless you asked for it to be done also The compliance workshop is not really responsible for getting the car to a roadworthy standard, but rather just to make sure it meets ADR's - so if your car comes in with stuffed pads, then it would be up to you to replace them.

Are both air-bags still good - how much for them both? (and maybe the dash top and steering wheel)

does anyone have pics handy, this Skyline is one of the cars that we imported for a client almost a year ago - such a shame, it was one of the best R32 GTR's I have seen.

I have a Cefiro on it's way from Japan also, this one has no big mods to WOW over but I can assure you that it is unique in it's own way.... maybe we will have an A31 Cefiro cruise soon

strange, according to Impul these cars were all based on the R33 non-turbo body and were custom fitted with the turbo parts including bigger brakes, but they specifically mentioned that they had 4 stud hubs .. I have only ever seen 2 genuine Impul R33R's and both had 4 stud hubs too..

That picture is actually taken directly from the Impul website, the wheels are factory on the limited edition R33-R .. great looking cars aren't they? I would love to get some pics of your car if it is the genuine thing - you can tell because it will have the Impul build plate on the ashtray and should also have 4 stud wheels instead of the normal 5 stud ones found on any other turbo Skyline ... please email pics to [email protected]

You should try calling Danny @ AutoTrust - he is one of the best installers in Melbourne, he does most top alarms from QuikTrak to DEI products .. he also owns a Skyline and perfers to work on imports (especially R33's) - call 0403 056 181

The genuine Impul R33R kit that we have has not been copied yet as out normal fibreglass guys are really busy, if we have a couple of confirmed orders then I can push it through ahead of other kits that are being done too .. please email me if you are interested.

There are a number of wires inside the stacker cable, including control and power for the stacker as well as left and right audio channels to the head unit - you can easily short out either the left or right channel if this cable gets squashed, it sounds like that is the exact problem ... check it out, look in places like under the seats as this is the most common place to crush a cable.

also make sure you have not crushed the stacker cable, that is a fairly common thing to happen.

only a small number of models are actually able to be converted and those ones will cost anything from $600 to more than $1500 .. normally it is simply not worth the trouble.

wrong - try this instead: GTS & GTS Type-G - RB20E GTS25 & GTS25 Type-G - RB25DE GTS4 - RB25DE GTS Type-S & GTS25 Type-S - RB25DE GTS25t Type-M - RB25DET GTR & GTR V-Spec - RB26DETT .. and just out of interest - all R33 GTS25t (or R33 GTS-T as they can also be known) are Type-M .. the Type-M does not mean it is a higher spec model as it was with the R32 Skyline.

The R33 model with RB20DE engine was the GTS Type-G, sometimes also known as the Urban Runner - wow!

re-shell laws are changing quickly, you will need certain evidence from the wrecked car and soon may need to have both cars available in parts for the engineer to inspect .. they are trying to make it harder for people to abuse the system by bending the laws in the way you are suggesting (damn, eh?) ... the other trouble is that re-shelled cars are also supposed to be legal and roadworthy, in similar condition to compliance vehicles.

What car are these for?... the proper fitment for something like an R33 Skyline is 205/55x15 so the upsize would be 225/50x16 - all of the tyres you listed are fairly good and around $200 to $225 would be about right for a good tyre in that size.

No coupe body kit parts will not fit the sedan except for the front bumper - we have a full Impul kit being cloned at the moment for the sedan, we will be taking orders soon.

Basic really, I am looking at buying one so I want to be armed with all of the information possible. .... I don't want a sales brochure, just actual numbers of each color built, actual months that they were built, etc... if you can help then that is great, otherwise?
