  2. I have 1 GFB hybrid blow off valve that is both atmospheric and plumb back venting. Included is the plug to convert this to a complete plumb back unit and the flange to bolt onto a R33 GTS-T. ($220ono) I also have 6 standard R33 GTS-T injectors ($150) and Air flow meter from a series 2 GTS-T with the pink sticker ($200ono). Parts located in Sydney. pick up prefered
  3. I used some brackets from Bunnings ($2) that I modified to fit. My Pioneer deck had threaded holes in the side to bolt straight up. When I rang around, Just Jap had some for $70 ea
  4. Try cleaning the AAC valve (on the rear of the intake manifold) The TPS may need re-allignement (on the the throttle body facing the front of the car) I had a similar problem and had the PFC reset and all was OK????
  5. R33 series 2's have a pink sticker, although I'm not sure if it makes any difference
  6. Ive got 265 35 18 and the speedo seems about 10%off ie. ~77 in a 70 zone. it gets tricky around speed cameras
  7. The closer rated injectors you can get for your desired power output, the better metering you will have for emissions and fine tuning take off and idle. I was going to get the Nismo 740cc's, but decided on 555cc's as I won't be going past 550bhp. I was also advised to get 550's by CRD who will be tuning the car. Check with your engine tuner who may also want the adjustable fuel pressure reg. Advan won't tune a car without one and CRD highly recommend one.
  8. I run a greddy Profec B with the PFC. I chose this over the boost kit as I didn't have the hand controller, so as a bundle it would have been around $850 delivered. The preofec B is a great device as it is simple to use and has an easy to read display with visual and audable warnings when overboosting. Do a google search and you'll find heaps of stuff, and some scientific information and not just peoples oppinions. Although If I already had the hand controller, I would go the boost kit.
  9. So a failed FPR will not cause it to lean out and detonate? Because this is what I was told when visiting CRD with my car on the weekend. Thanks for all the info R31 Nismoid and Japsky33. If there is no real danger then i may as well hold off and save some $$$.
  10. As I understand it, the fuel pressure rises with the ammount of boost pressure, but the injector duty cycle varies with airflow (AFM/ECU). I have a T3/4 with unknown specs, but makes 215rwkw at 13psi. 20 psi was just an estimate to get 250rwkw at 7000rpm. I was advised to get a the FPR by Jim at CRD - even a new stock one, as he has seen some of the stock ones fail if they are not always up to the job. Also makes easier to get the tune spot. So for 150 it may save a 4000 rebuild

  12. Hi Has anyone got the nismo 740cc injectors running off an Apexi PFC and found any problems with idle or take off? I have a 1996 gts-t and I'm currently looking at upgrading my injectors to allow enough boost to get to 250rwkw and I have spoken to a few workshops who believe I may get some small problems with injectors that are too large for the application (550cc whould be plenty). I was thinking of getting these from Nengun, which list them for about $940 plus $50 delivery, but can anyone who has ordered these from Nengun let me know what additional costs such as duties and taxes they paid so i can get a clear idea of final costs? I currently have all the other support systems PFC, FMIC, Turbo, pump.....etc I was also adivsed to get a new stock or adjustable fuel pressure regulator as the one on the car is now 8 years old and running at stock boost (6psi?) most of its life and may cause a point of weakness in the system, so for about $150 its cheap insurance. Has any had a stock FPR fail? Cheers guys

  18. Whats the splice pattern for fitting to the S2 RB25 (pink labell AFM)? I checked in the DIY section but it makes refference to 4 wires, but I only have 3 wires from my AFM? Whats the difference in the sticker between the Z32 and RB25 AFM's?

I plan to get the injectors installed for around $140, but is it easy to install the Z32 AFM? can I drive it to get it tuned - or should I get the place to install it all at once and tune it. I plan to get it installed and tuned at CRD, as I have heard they know their PFC's pretty well. I was looking to get 260rwkw as the car currently makes 215rwkw at 13psi Current mods are: T3/4 turbo fmic PFC 3" turbo back exh high flow fuel pump Greddy profecB Cheers

  21. Approximately the same on the R33, but I had no maroon plug. "Brake Caliper Cleaner" seems a bit harsh to me, I'll give it a go with some carby cleaner
