According to the Toyo website, the tyres are only good for 12 months and they specifically warn about buying parallel imports. The "shelf-life" of the "GGG" and "SG" tread compounds is considerably shorter compared to the compounds imported by Toyo Tyre & Rubber Australia Limited. The majority of the parallel import Proxes R888 tyres in "GGG" & "SG" tread compounds were produced in 2004. Performance of the "GGG" & "SG" compounds will not be as the manufacturer intended where tyres are more than 12 months old. This is one reason why Toyo Tyre & Rubber Australia Limited keeps very limited stocks of Proxes R888 "GGG" tyres. Perhaps the price should be a bit better considering the reduced performance?

What Colour is the car?

Hi, just a couple of questions; Are these tyres parallel imported? how old are they? ie production date? Cheers

Will the sway bars fit an R33 GTS-t? and are they any thicker than the stock gtst ones? -
I have a turbo that looks very similar to your turbo, but with a larger turbine housing. From memory I think is a 0.63. Either way, I have the same swing valve/dump pipe combo. Your options as far as the dump is concearned are to either "high flow" your existing dump, which I had done at Liverpool exhaust in Sydney for $300. Or you could buy an off the shelf item from the USA, check out www.atpturbo.com. Neither option will split your exhaust gases as I was told that it was not possible with this flange??? When riging around tell the exhaust shop that your dump flange is similar to a VL turbo and they will understand. I found that most places in Sydney don't want to touch them and I only went to Liverpool as a last resort. I am getting 1 - 1.5 more psi than before high flowing the dump, although I did fit a batmbl 5" cat at the same time to replace my 3" high flow. Before the upgrade I was getting 240rwkw at 16psi Cheers

Replacing the crankshaft is not a general maintenance item. Generally, you only need to replce one if the engine has suffered from oil starvation in which case you will have more problems than just replacing the crank - like replacing all moving parts of the engine - if severe enough.

try cleaning the AAC valve, have you got a gtr or gts?
-
Will you separate them?

Your clicking noise could be coming from the cluch pedal pivot points in the pedal box as the plastic bushes wear away you start to develop a clicking noise. Try lubricating the points or swapping the bushes around.

Quick Release Steering Wheel Hubs
GIGOLO replied to Primordial's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
I got one mainly for the fact that it brings the wheel closer and I don't have to have my legs crouched under the steering wheel column to get a decent reach. The horn has contact switches on the both parts of the lock kit. I can't notice any play in the wheel although the quality doesn't seem to be 100% as it is a little rough in the finishes, but nothing structually wrong with it. Check them out on ebay, they are made bt D1 spec and I got mine for about $70 (from just jap on ebay) -
If you do find one with the H/C Ill take it!

A repco guy told me that Kingchrome make the Repco branded tools, so just get whichever of the 2 are cheaper.
