  1. Stock WG actuator, using internal Holset WG. My wastegate line was pulled right off the turbo (see pic). How does the stock internal WG feed off 1-3? My stock rb20 and rb25 turbos have a feed line right off the turbo, just like the Holset. I always thought that on a straight 6, 5&6 would have higher pressure. I just thought I pushed too much boost and my timing map was a bit aggressive.
  2. A few months ago I said I would post a dyno chart of my HE351 RB20. I'm a little late, but here it is: 327 RWHP and 255 FT/LB My spark timer is broken, so the RPM scale is a little screwed up. It should end on 7000 RPM. This is on a mustang dyno at about 580 meters above sea level. RB20 stock internals Holset HE351 from a Dodge RAM - NOT the variable vein model 4" Downpipe / 3" exhaust 4" Intake 440cc 7MGTE Injectors ECU Remap GTR Fuel Pump Everything else is stock This is the first car I have ever tuned (without help from a professional tuner). I'm pretty happy with the results, but I know it could have done better. It was running 18 psi (1.25 bar). I pushed it up to 22 psi and blew the rings out of the 1st cylinder. I have since put a new motor in, cams, and changed back to an RB25 turbo. I will rebuild and run the holset again. But I don't have the money for a rebuild right now.
  3. Maybe 4 door r33 door panels fit? That would be a nice swap!
  4. There isn't any magic to it.. I just welded some metal on the ends. It's pretty thick metal, 8-10mm. I drilled a hole in the right one (left in the pic) for the radiator support. My left rad support is broken off, so I didn't drill a hole for it. You can't see it, but I also welded a bar between them. Like the Nismo ones. I'm not in Au, so I don't know... but I bet this will get you defected.
  5. <br /><br /><br />Yes! Please!
  6. Are there any more pics? I want to see how the door cards and pillars lined up. True! I helped a friend fit an R33 dash into an S13. And another fit an R34 dash and seats into an S14. They bolted up fine. The only thing that didn't line up was the door. But they were track only cars so we didn't bother putting door panels back in. I have also seen a Maxima with a complete R33 interior, not sure how much effort it took.
  7. I have S13 brackets in mine.. but I had to do some welding to fit them.
  8. I want a set if you negotiate a good group-buy price. I bought boots for my r32 on ebay from "topgaiters". They said they could make A31 boots if I sent in good pictures and detailed measurements.

  10. R34 LS1 with twins: Everyone does S13 LS1 swaps here. I have actually seen more V8 s-chassis than RBs.
  11. Picked up an s13 one at a wrecker. It was only $5, so I'm not out much if it doesn't fit. I'll try to find the time to pull the old part and snap some pics this week.
  12. Read these two threads: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...nd-t110431.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fi...ob-t174735.html
  13. The bracket is bent, the floating gauge thing is stuck, and it leaks from the seals where the electrical wires go out. I need a new one. I have a picture of one out of an s13. It looks identical, but will it fit? http://www.sillbeer.com/images/engine/fuelpump-original.jpg
  14. Get it out. There are posts all over the internet on this. I usually just heat the stud up, then use a small left-handed drill bit. Or if the stud is hanging out, you can weld a nut on the end. Always works for me.
  15. S13 is a direct fit. But you lose auto on/off. I have s13 switches in my car.
  16. I'm trying to avoid any kind of glue, but I'll use it if I can't find anything else that works. I found this japanese web page that is exactly what Im doing: http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/535020/blog/14806483/ My japanese is horrible, but I think he just presses them back into shape. I'm going to use some rubber jaw c-clamps to smash them onto the car too.
  17. Is importmonster reliable and reasonably priced? I've had bad luck with import parts brokers.
  18. My side skirts started peeling off. So I pulled them off, and put them back on with new clips and new double-sided tape. It's been a week and now they are peeling off again! It looks like they may be slightly warped towards the front. Do I need new side skirts, or can I straighten these out? I'll post pics in a few hours.
  19. I thought the S13 had a bit more height but the A31 had more width and depth? Not that it makes that much difference... Do the VQ! I can get a VQ35 cheap, but I want someone else to experiment with fitting one before I do.
  20. Either the fuel pump seal or the fuel lines are leaking. Take the carpet out of the boot and look for leaks around the pump seal and hoses. If the leak isn't there, then pull the right-rear wheel and look for leaks there.
  21. We did get them in Maximas, but they put them in sideways, so it doesn't count. I'm sure a VH would fit. VH45 in S14 and VH45 in S13. A31 has more space under the bonnet than an S13. VK MIGHT fit. I wouldn't want to be the one to find out that it doesn't.
  22. I fail at reading! A VQ would be much better than a VG. We didn't get the VQ30 here, only the VQ35.
  23. So youre replacing a heavy ass rb20 with a heavy ass vg30?
  24. I bought some at the dealer and they had this part number on the package and the receipt: E03FBR But it's not a real Nissan part number, so you can't just walk into the dealer and buy that part number.
