  7. Hi Guys, Got some gear for sale if anyone is interested. All the prices are only for the items, postage is extra. This is a 12/24volt Pre Lube pump with -12 inlet and outlet, can pump up to 60PSI. We used it as a safety backup if we lost our dry sump pump belt we had the pump kick in off a pressure switch. These pumps are $600 brand new and this one was used once, and we changed our setup due to new ANDRA rules. Im asking $400 Morroso Breather Tank with -12 Male JIC fitting. $100 Proflow -12 Oil or fuel 100micron screen. was used in the prelube oil setup. $75 Peterson -16 Oil screen 100micron, Rocket Ind wants $170 for a new one. This is used once aswell im asking $100 3 Gallon Peterson Dry sump tank, Dual Scavange inlet, Added extra -12 Male JIC at the bottem welded in. In Very good condition, Rocket industries is asking $815 with the two clamps. Im asking $600. HKS turbo shield $50 Stillway Shifter used once, reason for selling it is a short shifter and is to hard to change gear with a straight cut dog box, but works really good in its concept. Would be ideal in a streeter/drag car. The going price is $600 it took quite a few months to source this item. Custom made fitting for the dry sump tank, -12 O ring port to -16 female JIC for the Screen return. $50
  8. Hi Guys, Our Car is on the Front cover of HPI Mag this Month, Issue No. 142, Very good article from the guys at HPI. Just an update on the car, Have been building a 6mm thick Scatter shield around the Bell housing on the GTR as any GTR owner would know there is very minimal room around the top of the gearbox once its in the car. Somehow we persisted for weeks to make this Guard. Just waiting for a Strain guage to turn up, and than we should be putting the engine back in the car over the christmas period. The Car will be going back to Mark Jacobson at Godzilla Motorsport for a check up and retune the car at 35psi around the end of Jan-Feb. Here is the REG 4.9.7 out of the 2011/2012 ANDRA rulebook:- The use of a properly constructed steel, aluminium with steel or titanium lining, titanium bell-housing is mandatory for clutch equipped vehicles in top fuel, funny car, top alcohol, top doorslammer, Pro stock, and competition eliminator. All other clutch equipped cars running quicker than 11.00 (1/4 mile) / 7.00 seconds (1/8 mile) are required to use a steel, aluminium with steel or titanium lining, or titanium bell-housing or shield. Bellhousings certified to SFI6.1, 6.2, 6.3, will be acceptable providing the SFI spec matches the clutch assembly used. A totally Enclosing 360 Degree, one-piece bell housing must be formed or fabricated entirely from 6mm (1/4 inch) steel plate and attached directly to the rear of the engine. Where used, Flywheel shields must be constructed so they completely surround the clutch failure. The shield should be constructed from 6mm (1/4 inch) steel plate, and extend forward to a point at least 25mm (1 Inch) ahead of the flywheel, and 25mm (1inch) to the rear of the clutch and pressure plate. Shields must not be bolted to the bell housing and should attach securely to the frame/chassis. all the shields or bellhousings must be removed from the vehicle for checking during the technical inspection. An engine support strap made of steel or aircraft cable (chain not accepted) capable of supporting the rear of the engine in case of bell housing failure is required on all cars, unless it is evident that the headers or frame rails will prevent the engine from dropping. Will upload some photos of the Scatter shield next week, it also added about 15KG of weight to the car,
  9. Ummm no track as of yet but i won't rule it out lol
  10. Yeah they will fit a GTS piece of piss, pretty much what R31Nismoid said just cut the tabs of the plug with a sharp knife.
  11. I got bored with the power pretty quick lol, I'm use to hi-po GTR's
  12. New BC Coilover's are in, was a Little bit disappointed with how low you can go, i have the back fully lowered as much as it can go, i wanted just a tad more lower but that's all she's got to give. Haven't had much of a chance to to test them yet but first impression seems to be good. One thing i can say is changing out suspension in a 350Z is far more a pain in the arse compared to a GTR. It was nearly more unbearable than doing JZA80 suspension... and that for me is the pinnacle of f*#ked. Anyways have been Ebaying and i am thinking about getting a carbon front lip Veilside V1 style for the Z, maybe another Xmas pressie
  13. BUMP!!!! Make a good Xmas Present.
  14. Perhaps
  15. Hhhhmmmmm......
  16. Mate i've worked on JZ's and they are f**ked in pretty much every way conceivable, the RB's roar will live on forever
  17. I got a car hoist in the shed so its easy for me, just gotta make a jig up like the one i got for the GTR takes me 2-3hrs to to remove engine, gearbox etc. Engine was gonna come out anyways so i can remove all the puss off the engine + i will be using AN fittings and braided hoses for everything, got so much left over from the R32. But yeah if i can get a 2nd engine will give me time to refine the engine and make it all pretty.
  18. My New BC Coilover's BR Type from Just Jap rocked up this week, will probably put them on tomorrow. Looks like a pretty good kit, i have always been a Tein man but this car will never see a track in its life so i thought i would give these a test run, pretty good quality for the price just by looking at them.
  19. Yeah i'll probably save up and do it all in one hit, i don't want this car to be off the road for to long was considering buying a 2nd hand VQ35 and stripping it, build it then pop it straight in, then sell the other one see how i go.
