Lol all them parts cost me a lot of money back in the day and that was when the Yen was 105 to our dollar and it was still expensive as shit. Here's some more progress pics, parachute bracket is made just has to be TIG welded up and painted looks pretty good. The new dry sump tank arrived and is nearly completed, came up pretty good, not a lot of room but we made it work. Now she is all legal for ANDRA just waiting for the license paperwork to come back then its time to burn some rubber and go get ourselves a 9sec slip.

You won't have to worry about seeing my R33 GTR go down the strip as it is now up for sale, everything must go all's i want to keep it the chassis... Engine, brakes , suspension everything is getting sold. Reason for selling is i have a wedding and a house to pay for, i will be keeping the chassis and will be turning it into a Race car over the next 3+yrs. Anyone who is interested in some extremely rare parts give me a yell i will be letting most of this stuff go pretty cheap. I will take me weeks to write up a list so if you know something you want let me know. Can't change my mind this time as i didn't pay the rego on it everything must go.

Have you tried taking to GCG Turbos or the HKS dealers in Australia. GCG are pretty helpful and know their shit about all kinds of turbo's might be worth a try.

Lol Stock RB25 with T04Z = LAG MONSTER i'd give a week before it would blow a piston and rings to bits I remember my mates R34 GTT i built for him with a GT3540 on a stock engine, damn that thing had bulk lag but was awesome fun on boost.

It will be external sometime in the future, i got 6meters of 4inch Titanium sitting at home was gonna make a new exhaust for it one day when i get some free time on my hands.

Ah i got 2 RB30 blocks at home a shitty N/A block and a Turbo Block, should just sell them and spend it on my N1 engine or sell the lot and twin turbo the Z, hhmm never own 2 good cars it just makes it harder to figure out what to spend the money on.... someone buy my GTR i'm sick of looking at it.

I have a brand new HKS T04Z with 0.81 Housing sitting at home Cal, my mate Richo won't need it for his Supra anytime soon hehehe, they look absolutely shit hot.

We just got 4inch turbo back straight through exhaust no mufflers but have the 50mm Waste gate plumbed back in so it is a lil bit quieter but not by much

Can't wait to have 450kw + at my disposal gonna destroy everything i see and if i don't Mr RB30 might have to be built a lil bit sooner hahaha!!!!!!

Yeah Mike the engine does sounds incredible and the way it revs is unbelievable so quick and smooth and the classic RB bark when it hits boost always makes me smile every time i drive it. Mark at Godzilla Motorsport has out done himself on this engine it is truly one awesome bit of gear and that's why he is Australia's quickest, top work i give him two thumbs up lol !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah maybe next year... i don't think they will let it in cause it doesn't have full interior etc. Just wanna put in on a runway and go nuts that would be awesome.

Driveshafts should not break if the suspension is setup properly, the only other way they will break is fatigue from doing a million launches in them. If you have have really hard spring rates like 7-9kg/mm on the rear well that is way to hard, and if your car gets axle tramp when the wheels spin well that will also cause it to be weaker. Personally i don't know if GTR shafts are longer than GTS ones but i'm gonna guess and say they should be the same. If you are gonna be drag racing the car all the time then its probably worth spending some coin on the rear end suspension getting it right so when the car squats for a launch the driveshafts are as straight as possible. + dumping the clutch at 6000-7000rpm is not good either as this shock loads the whole drive train, in GTR's when you dump the clutch at 8000-9000rpm all the time i guarantee you will end up breaking something really quickly, need to side step the clutch by releasing the pedal slowly and letting the clutch grab slowly it might just save the drive train a bit of shock load. I see people all break shafts all the time, i've owned skylines and GTR's now for 6yrs + and have never broken a drive shaft yet and i thrash the shit out of my cars ask Kingy he can concur with this lol .

I wouldn't mind putting my R32 GTR in that drag challenge one year, it would be awesome fun and should be quite competitive

Nah not gonna make it to Jambo, trying to get the car ready for the next Andra meet at Mackay so the car can be inspected and get my license all passed out that way there will be nothing stopping us from going flat out.
