Hi Guys Had a massive day today, was up a 2.30am drove to Bundaberg picked up my new car then turned around and drove back to mackay got back 6.30pm. I have been looking for a new car for months now, was gonna get a Evo X MR but then thought about and realised i didn't want to spend $50k +, so i looked at maybe imported another car again, but that would have been alot of stuffing around. How Do The Big Hp Cars Get Away Without Being Defected?
Nur33 replied to Rolls's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Its easy, moved to a small remote town where there are no cops. I live in Mackay, North Queensland and the cops are not that bad up here, and when they do pull you over , they take photos cause they don't no what they are looking at and then give you a shitty fine that has nothing to do with why they pulled you over for in the first place. (Like excessive tyre smoke when i drive a 4wd GTR WTF). But on a serious note, i see a lot of f*#kwits cruising around on Friday and Saturday nights cruising up the main street about 50 times a night in piece of shit gtst / silvias with different coloured panels mostly (under coated) with loud exhausts and bov's. Now they are they ones that draw the cops attention straight away because typically they are you guys with bad manners who have no respect for themselves or law and give us import drivers a really bad reputation. Now on they other hand most of my mate's take extremely good care of there rides and present them very well as i like to do with my cars, they all run big power from 500-900hp and when you lift the bonnet they are packed full of goodies and look really nice and would be defect field day for any cop. But we don't go cruising around at night stirring up shit and showing off to everyone (thats what f*#king car shows are for) i like to go cruising during the middle of the day in the middle of the week and i never have any trouble with police because i never see them. And when i have been pulled over its because the police admire our rides and want to have look at them. If you be honest to the police and not a smart arse and give them respect they will generally be let off, I've been let off heaps times in my R33 GTR and it has millions of defects and not even street legal but I present it well and take care of it. I think it mostly comes down to the individual and there attitude and there is a time and place for these cars. There is no way in hell i would drive my in hell i would drive my R32 GTR with 800awhp down the main street of town any time of the day, because its bad enough trying to drive it anywhere, with its dog box, 2 way diffs, 4inch straight through exhaust etc. It would be like driving around with a big sign on top of your car saying (I'm a f*#king idiot pull me over please). Common sense guys thats all it is. -
Lol yeah something...something flamin mongrel i think. Here's some more weekend pics Grants Tommy Kaira R34 GTR Nissan were generous enough to bring out the New R35 GTR and 370Z and showcase them next to our tent (Thanks Nissan)!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the pics Cal, looking good mate, you will have to come down home one day and get some proper ones. Today was its first outing at the Palmyra Motor Mayhem Car Show and we are all super excited about the result today. Big thank you to all the fellow SAU members that came out and cheered us on . We did end up winning grand champion today but felt guilty claiming it see as we organised the event so we ended up giving it to second place which was very close competition. Still managed to win highest Boosted 6 in dyno comp with a 690rwhp??? The dyno was way out of calibration as everyone's car was way down on power, not to worry. My lil brother Matt done a very good job of taming the beast today, on his first run managed to reel out a 10.9sec pass @ 135mph and a pretty crappy 1.8sec 60ft. With the 19inch wheels and the AD08s running 35psi in them and the lowest tune of 700hp. Pretty damn good, being the very first time he had ever 4wd launch and raced with a Dog Box. Can only get better from here looking forward to the next outing some Mickey T ET streets and a chute are next on the list. A bit more practice and the car will be into the 9's, would love to get a 9sec pass on the 19's would make my day. Pics and Vids coming soon.

Don't get super streets, I have them on my mate's supra and my r32 gtr and on both cars they are way to soft and the tires will hit the guards unless it's jack up heaps. I have Tein Mono Flex on my R33 GTR and my other mate has them on his R34 GTR and they are absolutely perfect 8kg/mm on front and 7kg/mm rear, they are perfect balance between street and track I highly recommended them. Here are my Mono flex they have dual height adjustment these are off my Street/Track R33 GTR Fr:8kg/mm R:7kg/mm And these are the super street which have minimal height adjustment these are off my Drag R32 GTR Fr:5kg/mm R:4kg/mm

Lol its hasn't been a daily driver for awhile now been on the hoist since Xmas, but yeah i plan on racking up some kms on it when its done and do some cruises with the R32 as well. The coilovers are Tein Mono Flex's F=8kg/mm and R=7kg/mm they are perfect for street use not to harsh i have found the Tein Super Streets to be to soft on some cars. I will probably save up for some track spec Ohlins or Teins for when i hit the track and a new set of rims. P.S i have an obsesion with carbon and titanium the damn things are sending me broke -
Our race suit rocked up yesterday so we decided to get some seat time in the red beast hahaha!!!!!!!!!!

Does your Arc Filter Element have a steel mesh built into it, it would take a fair bit of suction to suck that in, I can't even push it in with my hand. But ill keep an eye on it cheers N1GTR -

Update time: Now the R32 is almost complete my latest shipment of goodies have arrived for the R33. The workmanship in the titanium front pipe and strut bar is just awesome and some of the best work i have ever seen, and the Ikeya Formula gear is built super tough will not be breaking them any time soon. I have installed the rear Ikeya lower arms, might do the front ones tomorrow, i also have to re-torque the cylinder head on the R32 and change some settings in the Vipec is also on tomorrows list as well. Can't wait to hear the full titanium exhaust at 8500rpm gonna be on par with the R32 (maybe). Anyway hears some pics: -
Thanks for all the comments and support guys . Yes this car is going to raced we have spent way to much money and have put a solid 2 and a half years of blood, sweat and beers into making this car, now its time to enjoy it. Don't know how good the fuel economy will be in this thing but I'm guessing its gonna be pretty shit house. As long as it can make it the drag strip on a tank of fuel, then i'll be happy. Probably a fair chance that we will only get a couple of runs at the strip in street trim before the boys at Palmyra tell us to piss of and put a parachute on. There will be video's for sure of when this thing hits the strip for the first time. We have all our race clothing on order, pretty much ordered the whole RPM catalog identical to what the V8 Supercar Boys wear, so hopefully will be hear shorty. As for promoting the business, I'm sure this car will gives us lots of attention and when the other two project cars are done we will have a good portfolio of cars under our wing. The 33 GTR will hopefully be done in the next month or two and then the Supra Project will start which i am looking forward to, as it will be a change from working on GTR's all the time can which get a bit boring at times. I am keen to do a Z project car as well, i have a few ideas i wanna do to a 350Z with a massive Stillen Supercharger strapped to it. Ummm time will tell hahaha!!!!!!! I will keep you's updated as much as possible in the next few weeks when the car makes it debut at the strip so be sure to stayed tuned. The excitement is building fast. Cheers Benny

Here's today's efforts, we have stood around for the last 3hrs having a few beers appreciating our last 2 and 1/2 years + of effort and myself, my brother and the old boy are extremely proud of this car and $200 000 + later, it is worth every cent and probably wouldn't change a thing on it and I must say for a backyarder shed job it would have to be the best R32 GTR i have ever witnessed personally and can't wait to go toe to toe with the worlds best. I still can't believe how awesome this machine looks it makes the R33 look like shit hahaha!!!!! A few more things like the carbon aerolatches and the doors skins and windscreen wipers are about all thats left and a good day of cleaning it and its ready for the photoshoot, hopefully gracing the cover of HPI Magazine very soon. The first person who scratches this car my old man with probably kill them but at the end of the day this car was made to break records and hopefully the R32 will deliver ...as long as the driver has it all under control, 8.7sec here we come. P.S for those that are curious the back of the car is 10mm higher than the front, it was just the un-even ground the car was parked on that why it looked weird . Here's some more pics: Notice how the old man gets his ugly mug in ever photo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
