  2. Yeah Leigh i got most of my stuff from www.rhdjapan.com and www.nengun.com .... the is stuff real expensive now days i bought most of this stuff when it was 100-105 yen to the AUD, also i thought about smoked indicators but the rest of mine are clear so i just made them match.
  3. Interesting build this one looking forward to the progress.
  4. I know how you feel Leigh, i have similar story i went from a EA Falcon on gas probably 90hp to a 320hp R34 GTT now a 600hp R33 GTR and in a few months time a full blow 1000+HP R32 GTR its awesome experiencing different power levels. I remember driving my first gtr it had 280rwkw and holy s*#t it was the best feeling ever. At least you started with the right model the Series 3's are beautiful, wish mine was a S3 but instead its a fake imitation S1, disguised as a S3. Looking Forward to your modifications hope it all goes well.
  5. Very interesting colour scheme, i think it will look good together... defiantly stand out from the crowd thats for sure. Great Work
  6. Some updated pics with the new bonnet, more upgrades coming very soon, can't figure out what to buy next, have my new/used RB30 bottom end sitting in the corner waiting for a rainy day.
  7. Yeah a nice fluffy carpet one, that will falls off every time you corner hard lol
  8. Yeah Luke don't know till we drive it, but i think the glare will be the least of our worries when drive it
  9. Hi all Latest update for this month: Went to Jambo at willowbank for the first time, awesome venue can't wait to compete in it next year had lots of fun. Feel sorry for the Big GTR Boys, all going out with major drama's, i hope they have better luck next year. Marks crash was very sad to see but lucky not to major, already fixed. As for our car, progress is good decided to rewire the whole engine loom instead of getting back to back adapter for standard loom. Will be a lot neater than the standard one also. While we were at Godzilla Motorsport we picked up our new Vipec V88 Computer and 2200cc injectors plus some other goodies. Things do at the moment: # Done most of the -4 lines for all the engine bay. # Injectors and Rail are in. # Exhaust manifold currently getting the exhaust temp pyro's welded in each runner. # Custom Power steering tank getting welded up. # Wiggins Radiator Pipe getting welded up also. # Plus lots of other fiddly shit done too. Heres some progress pics:
  10. Hello everyone, some new photos.. All the intercooler piping has been polished took many hours, due to mendral bend marks that had to be sanded out than buffed with polish. center console with 4 defi's, rocket switches, Prelube switch, ARC gearnob etc.. still waiting on hypertune to weld the other ferrul onto the 102mm throttlebody, in picture.. turbo smart BOV, 4" Adel Wiggins and 2x 1.5" Wiggins for radiator water pipe yet to be bent up.
  11. Yeah i agree, the bottom hole has to be bigger the the top hole, so you can reach in there and put the nyloc nuts on from underneath, plus you wouldn't want to measure it incorrectly otherwise your up shit creek !!!
  12. Hi Guys Just a quick update, have just purchased a carbon fibre bonnet of Mu Secret, i am happy with the quality of it considering the price and installed it with New Aerocatch Bonnet Pins (What a pain in the arse they are to put in). Parts to come soon, next couple of months: -New AP Racing Front rotors 370mmx36mm...Shit they are expensive $$$ -New Tires either Kuhmo KU36 or Federal 595 RSR, either 265's or 275's -Slowly gonna start tricking out the interior, Bride Seats, New Nardi or Works Bell Steering wheel + Lots of Carbon Trimming. Heres some bonnet pics: Cheers Benny
  13. cheers mate,, im too keen to run it down the strip. Yea our idea to keep the standard instrument panel is because the car will still be street registed believe it or not haha. Maybe later on down the track when the car is put off the road will run with motec dash or something simmilar.
  14. Hi Guys Here's an update for you's: Progress so far, most of the wiring is done, the engine has been put in for the very last time and everything bolted in now and is there for good. The 1.25 inch Adel Wiggins Clamps have turned up for the radiator, so that will be getting fabricated soon. The New brake rotors have also turned up so that will be getting put together as well. As the pictures will show the interior trim is getting put in (What is left of it) so its starting to look like something!!!! Cheers Benny
  15. Hi Guys just some reply's to ur questions.. first one to you dazmo, yes the back of the radiator is completely covered, this is the new design from PWR used on the Aston Martins Cars.. has a thermo fan and 3 rubber flaps which we havent put in yet.. when the car is iddling the flaps close and draw more air through the radiator.. but when driving along the flaps open up the air is alowed to pass through. Five fuel pumps, haha yes one is for a lift pump to the SARD 5L surge tank, and four pumps for when the car runs on methanol. Our alternator has been rewound to 120Amps from the standard 90Amps because each pump draws 13Amps and CDI will pack a punch too. second to Xrated, we have welded our engine mounts solid as a rock.. we didnt use wiggins clamps on the intercooler and stayed with normal silicon hose for flex there if needed.
  16. Hi Guys Just an Update.. Waiting on turbo to get Adel wiggins Ferral welded on, also had to send the Throttle body back to Hypertune as they will dissasemble it and weld the 4" Wiggins Ferral on for us and reassemble etc. I finished wiring the 5 fuel pumps up today on seperate relays all controlled by there own pilot switchs in the cab. Hoping to Order the rest of the -4 braid soon to finish off boost lines and other little fiddly jobs.. my dad will be speaking with Mark Jacobson this monday in brissy, hopefully to arange a rough date for when the car will be heading down that way to get run in and tuned. If anyones looking at ordering Adel Wiggins clamps I have researched everyone under the sun.. ended up dealing with Gas Motorsports, the clamps are rediculously expensive but boy do look shit hot. haha

  18. Thanks mate i think i remember your car, nice to here of more projects springing up in Mackay. Ive driven and built 300rwkw R34 GTT, it had a Gt3540 on it was crazy fun, I'm picking up and RB30 bottom end up next week, dunno if ill put it to use just yet. Have to catch up one day and have a chat.
  19. I got my carbon covers off Ebay, they are real carbon but they fit quality is not great needed modifying to fit good, as the were rubbing on exhaust cam pulley, plus the don't seal either so water with get into your coilpacks as well. Only Cost approx $300 about 2yrs ago.
  20. Now that i know how to put pics on heres some more to look at: STAGE 1 AND 2 MODS:
  21. Got the carbon goodies from RHD Japan, yeah the boot could be getting a custom drag wing mounted to it, as we are gonna run the factory panels for street trim (cause of the cops and want sleeper look) and use all the carbon goodies for serious race events.
  22. Yeah it was in Aprils issue 120, i've done a few additions since then. Put the autoselect front lip spoiler on and brand new series 3 Xenon headlights which are awesome.
  23. Hi Guys Finally Figured out how to put pictures up properly so here's a heap more: PS If it doesn't do a 10 sec pass straight up, ill burn it to the ground hahaha!!!!
