This has been posted in some other sections, however I know a lot of you sequester yourselves in here so thought I'd post again. The Ruzic series is always very well run. would be great to see more R35's there. If you have been to one of the Moorooka Nissan Dealership days then you will be more than equipped to run in this event so don't be shy. I think there will be 4 going already including: GTR59 7ORTY Druzilla Handbrake Spots still available last I heard. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/An...ay-t334877.html

First session on slicks out on the national circuit after an afternoon of rain. Doing a few three quarter pace laps as you can see by the throttle logging. Noticed a few birds out on the track but didnt expect this one. Sound recorded doesnt do the almighty thud I heard whilst out there any justice. The carbon bumper has a tiny crack in it from the impact but isnt deformed in any way. here is the small part of the bird that didn't fly over the windshield in the video

1:11 for the V8 supercars and about 1:14 for the hi octane R34 of Mark Berry according to Doug Chapple

Richard, you should get along to the Ruzic Nissan day 28th Sept. plenty of us will be there. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/An...ay-t334877.html As for sprint track times, I went out for a steak lunch when the sprint track was running as it was pissing down. only ran clubman (my favourite) and national. On the sprint track, a stock R35 will do 58.5-61. COBB stage 2 with R compound or dunlop 20 inch tyres about 57-58 second hand slicks with turbo/suspension upgrade 55's I am hoping to get 54's next outing. For the clubman some people would say you add about 2 seconds to your sprint track time as an estimate of what you might do. this time round I managed 57.2 on my only full run on the Clubman and I reckon there was more in there but it started raining. had brake problems (overheating) on the national circuit. I left my USB stick with the data on it in the car. I know i got a 1:18 on one of my first outings on the national so hopeful there is a 1:17 in subsequent sessions. This was the second outing I had with my second hand slicks which are shagged. cant wait to get out there with some new tyres! maybe next year.

yeah was a bit disappointing Noel. the cop was about 2 km down the road from Champions way, before that dodgy servo just where it goes from 100 t 80 km/hr. I was pushing my luck though so not really that upset as I guess it was coming. shits me that the car is infinitely safer than the majority of cars on the road but thats the way it is. once we remove the glass and put in carbon doors we were going to be trailering it anyway so this just pushes that decision forward a few months!

blades on the side were thought not to meet minimum thickness of 4mm and were deemed too sharp.

time for a trailer I think defected for the wing, low front lip and lack of passenger seats, cop was pretty good about it. he was there to stake out all the drift cars arriving for the Friday night drift session
-
Wow, that's looking good for some big numbers.

here is one small part of the bird...

wow what a day, dry, wet, dry, wet hit an Ibis at 180 km/h leaving a quarter chicken wedged in my bumper (Thanks gordo fro removing it with the 'bird wrench' - danger money coming I promise) brakes went spongy (to the floor!) at the end of the back straight doing 250km/h on the national circuit managed to get in some good laps in on the crusty old slicks to boot, had a blast! good to see you guys out there.

wow! fire up everyone. I am running E85 Sucrogen in my car. have no proof any others are better or worse. all reports state it has the most consistent octane rating and the added 'benefits' of corrosion inhibitor. At $1.00 per litre more than premium it sure aint cheap. Its like insurance to me though, absolute rip off until you find out you need it. I have a motor which I don't really want to see go bang when the tune and fuel don't agree with each other lol. V8fuel guy, whilst I am sure you mean well you need to relax. I am using your fuel via mercury in Brisbane, even so I think it is obvious you aren't doing anything to endear yourself to your customers, current or potential. not a good way to run a business. -
would guess nonregisterable jdm car for track work or local wreck
