  1. no thats a good point dude. Maybe next time i will get him to just pop it into 5th and just keep going till its clearly doing more than the 180km on the actual dyno graph. As i said still think it may be a stock ecu but hey enough about me and my stock car. i want video of others now.
  2. you couldnt have put more neons in that thing is like one moving neon already
  3. bullshit its still stock and as long as it is a sub 190 - 200rwkw car its stock
  4. lol not sure if it will rub through as long as it the hole has not been done dodgy as i said i made sure the metal surface was as smooth as possible so luckily it hasent cracked/split the ic piping.
  5. interesting... maybe i am way off or something i dont have the car on me today but when i get home i might do some investigation. also maybe you are right about the rev limiter in terms of being limited to 6900 - 7000rpm personally i still think my car has the stock ecu but i guess we will wait and see. also in regards to me getting the air/fuel rations checked already had that done on the last dyno run was around 10.5:1 i think it was which was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to rich. ewen do you have your car here today let me go have a look at the tacho
  6. well thank you mr lets post a day after i have resolved the issue hehe na only joking shaun i should have clicked myself about it but meh i guess its all about learning . ps the whole will be plugged currectly with some mega chunky heat resistant foam/rubber this should remove the chance of this ever happening again.
  7. hmm interesting we pulled off the kick panel to rig up the wire for the afr gauge and it looked stock to me. Maybe i might have to have another look at it ??? off the top of your head do you know which wire i should be looking for that is the speed limit cut off. Also mark the rev limiter is still in place as it hits the cut at i think at either 7,500rpm - 8000rpm but woot as i said i had never taken it above 170 so to see it do that is a good sign that it can cope with a bit more boost, getting to the rev limiter and by the looks of it around 200 - 205km's
  8. what you talkin about willis :nowigetit
  9. i am with the other non smokers got home and went wow i cant believe i dont smell of smoke. i had a good night cheers to all that came. the smokers will come back soon and deal with having to smoke in another room you will see
  10. YOU DA MAN Mark, Mick and luke. And looking at that video that seems to indicate that my car is not capped to the 180km going off the fact that it was well over the top of my speedo... interesting very interesting superfly i can race you guys now hehe Leigh
  11. hmm well i wil be going hopefully their is someone their beau u had better be coming out. otherwise i guess i will just have dinner then head home
  12. also bigups to dickson mechanical & muffler service they were to ones who i got to check the car out thinking it was the exhaust manifold studs in the end i guess i should have picked up on it but still they were polite about the whole thing and offered advise on a few other things. 13. Well I must say that today has been awesome... well now it is this morning wasn’t. A: we have pretty much secured an apartment we will be buying though not 100% yet and for a good price . B: my car is ALL GOOD WOOTTTTTTTTTTT!!! :headspin: :headspin: :headspin: :headspin: :headspin: :headspin: :headspin: turns out when I had to cut the 3" whole in the chassis to allow the ic piping to come up through the engine bay I obviously didn’t put enough padding around the edges of the whole as looks like the IC piping must have moved a bit and then hitting the bumps was causing it to knock against the chassis. Anyways had a look at the piping and luckily I did an ok cut job on the whole and clean up as it has done nothing to the piping which makes me very happy. Anyways will cruze it home slowly then maybe get some rubber thick softish rubber or something similar to put around the piping. Any other suggestions will be taken into account but I think I can look after this one :devfu:
  14. HURRAH SUCK A PHAT SMOKERS
  15. lol well if you say so when i can i drop it around and the check will be dated for cashable year 1000000000
  16. Terminal: that is a possibility but I doubt it as I made sure those 2 nuts were done up real tight plus the front mount is bolted to the chassis so I don’t think it's that. Frank: possibility though I am generally pretty careful with what I leave in my engine bay and the fact that it sounded more like a metal object clunking against another one makes me think its something pretty solid. In terms of where the sound was coming from specifically I can’t say defiantly engine bay but I can’t pinpoint the exact location.
  17.  thanks stevie. Well i took it for a light drive and over a few bumpy areas and didnt hear to noise again ??? i have dropepd it off at an exhaust shop just to get a look over to make sure that i still have some studs holding my dump pipe on. But its got me stumped i had a look myself at the exhaust and it appeared fine. i guess i will wait and see Also other things i have checked A: everything in the engine bay appears ok B: Oil preasure is still good holding at the correct levels and is not going dodgy which is reasuring C: All ic pipings + clamps appear to be on and solid D: water temp is also fine E: it is still making boost fine and holding so yea i am  maybe just the ic piping knocking a little on the engine bay roof ???
  18. well the new fmic is fitted and have been driving around a couple of days no problems at all but just as i was on my way to work luckily very close, i started getting a clunking sound coming from the engine bay whenever i went over a bump... i will take it out again in a little while to try and work out were the sound is coming from i checked all the IC piping and and what not and they are definatly all secured and not moving. the only thing i could possibly think would make this noise is if i have snapped my exhaust manifold bolts but either way does someone want to be nice and come help me work out what the fark is going on. I will take it out in like an hour and post back if i still havent been able to work out what the go is ??? as i said seems ok when going on a smooth road just not over any bumps god damn it this is the first problem i have had with my baby hope shes all good also any tips on what to look for would be appreciated.
  19. the neon king strikes again

  22. whats with all the pics of you beau its enough to make me sick WHERE IS ALL THE WOMEN
  23. you wont need touch up paint just a cut and polish and, push out the dint and give it a goold wax. looks like only those deeper cuts wont come out.
  24. i just completed fitting my fmic a few days ago. i had to chop out a fair bit of the back of my front bar to get the fmic to fit.
  25. i agree with what others have said in terms of cool down really a turbo timer may not really be required if you just drive normally for the last 5 minutes or so. I have a turbo timer though for the times that i am in a bit of a rush its set to i think 30 - 40 seconds.
