Just got back from working on HWE's Cockatoo Island, was able to sneak away from village and take a few pics. Heres some that i liked, got a few panoramas in the making that ill up load later if they come up good.

hey mate, you should be able to do your roof, boot and spoiler yourself. Just buy some cheaper vinyl and practice, as for the bonnet you may want to pay someone to do it as you will have to join/splice two pieces together as the widest you can get would be 1220mm. In my opinion I don't think its worth the money to do the bonnet as you will see the join no matter how good the applicator is.

Ah k so its a calendered polymeric film. fark must take ages to get it to conform around those small curves, i just want to do boot and bonnet so shouldnt be hard. Driftt do you work in a sign shop? Im looking at wrapping my car matte black and need to source some vinyl. Spandex, qual sign and robayne pretty pricey over the counter.

hey just wondering what this stuff is like to use? is it similar to an avery 700 series or thicker like a reflective media? and how long is it rated (3yrs) ?

+ 1 topgaiters are awesome , i got gear stick, hand brake and the center console cover looks mint - 55bux for the lot

the guy we had was awsome, said drive within your abilities. He let us have some fun but also helped us get better as the day went on. the only thing he said was no hand brake drifts and if you spin out dont just keep spinning your tyres, one guy got banned from the track at the end for doing a burnout.

Well had the track day yesterday and all i can say is im booking another one on monday, Weather was crap but had soo much fun, they are changing the tuning arvo slightly so that there is a little more driver training involved, seating and hand position, race lines and just answering general questions. We got to use the the main track, 2 or 3 laps then swap over. And we also got to have a go at the skid pan which showed us all how bad we really are at driving in the wet lol, with 10 people there wasn't much waiting in line to get on either of the tracks. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
