  1. + Baron. I don't remember being this excited about F1 in a lon long time
  2. Fkn LOL!
  3. Yes seen the replays of Adelaide 1994 many times and the underlying factor there is that MS had every right to defend that corner because he was still leading the GP regardless of whether his car had been damaged before or not. I think we'll just agree to disagree
  4. I'm thinking Alonso, Vettel or the soon to be unemployed Kubica
  5. djr81 ^ No offense but complete and utter nonsense, sorry there isn't a valid argument in anything you just wrote. Put down the rose coloured glasses, why? When and where did Schuey run into Hill? Rather than taking what I posed as a personal attack, try actually reading what I wrote. I spell it out a little clearer 1. It would be all about this years car for him & this year is already stuffed for Ferrari.< who said that Ferrari were going to waste resources on this years car? Your answer above makes no sense whatsoever. 2. He has idiosynchratic set up requirements that will be out of step with the regular drivers. Fine if you the teams No 1 driver, but useless if you are a stand in. < MS has driven post 2006 cars and he will adapt his style to the current car. 3. He would divide the team loyalty to the drivers they have. < Who else is in there other than Kimi? Maybe you're forgetting that one of their contracted drivers is in hospital recovering from sugery to the skull 4. He is going to cost coin better spent on other things < How do you know that MS isn't doing this for his current salary? 5. He will deprive a future talent of race experience that they can't get. Hell they can't even get testing experience any more. < You said it yourself!!! Why would Ferrari use these young guys who have limited or no experience in their F1 car when they had a viable option in using MS.... Would you rather they can spend more money fixing broken cars that were ploughed into the concrete barriers?.
  6. I too would be more concerned about knobheads doing stupid shit in their cars sporting SAU decals, just my opinion
  7. I don't remember Schuey running into Hill ever. I do recall however Hill running into Schuey on 3 occasions (Adelaide 1994, Silverstone 1995 and Monza 1995)! Yes he did run into Villeneuve (Spain 1997). 1. What has that got to do with anything at all? 2. I doubt much has to change on the car for MS other than seat/pedals 3. How so? Kimi's lack of motivation is Michaels fault how? 4. I highly doubt it's going to cost them much at all when you consider he might actually attract a (big name) sponsor whilst filling in at Ferrari 5. Names? Is it a better scenario to put a young F3 or GP2 driver who has never driven an F1 car into the cockpit and see if he can make it to lap 5 of the GP after totalling another car or 2 in practice an qualifying ? Oh... and +1 benm
  8. Hahaha... looks like he almost got what he deserved!!!
  9. He doesn't start with Massa's points, he'll start at zero. Obviously any points he might score go to Ferrari's constructors total and his own tally. So no chance of an 8th WDC. I doubt it would take him any more than 30 minutes into P1 on Friday to get a setup and back to speed.
  10. wtf were they thinking!!!!
  11. It's not like he hasn't driven an F1 car since 2006 either.... he's done some testing since and I for one will be incredibly suprised if he isn't still quick.
  12. Ferrari F430 - IMO the sexiest car ever made Ferrari F458 Not huge on any of the Lambo's after the Miura, but I agree the Gallardo is nicer looking than the Murcielago
  13. I can't see how he can ruin it..... 7 x WDC with 91 GP wins speaks for itself imo
  14. Schumacher to return to Ferrari F1 http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news...729190859.shtml
  15. I think it's fkn brilliant having schuey fill in.... I don't think he has anything to prove, especially since Ferrari's best finish this year was a 2nd place.
  16. What is that?
  17. I'm not convinced Kimi even wants to stay in F1
  18. I don't think Ferrari or MS have suggested that this is going to be a long term arrangement.
  19. Most test drivers are test drivers and not race drivers for a reason and even at 40 I'd put money on it that Schuey is still going to be faster than Gene and Badoer. It's not like MS hasn't driven an F1 car since his retirement in 2006, he has done a number of tests since and has the driven 09 (Ferrari F60) regulation car. IMO he was the only logical choice to fill the seat until Massa is well enough to return. Massa who is a close friend of MS will also feel his drive is more secure. If Kimi does go rally driving next year, it might be interesting to see whether Alonso gets the seat or the soon to be unemployed Kubica..... assuming Massa is going to be able to drive an F1 car again.
  20. A number one driver who has shown little motivation if at all in the last 2 seasons. Frankly I'm srprised Luca has tolerated it thus far. I can't see how Schueys return will harm developement for next years car......
  21. Will we see Kubica in a red car next year....?
  22. so many lol's gone too
  23. For the OS I don't have an issue using RAID0 (not currently doing it for other reasons) because I never ever keep anything important on an OS drive.... not with a MS OS anyway I have a 36 (not in use currently Win 7 drive) and 74Gb Raptors and although noisier than 7.2K RPM drives they're not awful. Incidentally I have a 640Gb WD AAKS drive that whips the raptors in all benches except for seek whilst the AAKS has much better STR's than both raptor drives.
  24. I say you go 4 x 300Gb WD velociraptors or 4 x 15K SAS drives or 4 x SSD's in RAID0 and take your chances.... +1 Ben, who needs eco friendly WD green drives....
  25. ^^^ Lots of LOL's
