  1. Anyone heading there tonight? I am thinking about going if other people are going to be there. If I do go, I'll be there from about 630pm.
  2. Yeah sure. I'll head there after work. Be there at about 630
  3. 60mm Depo Racing Gauges that I installed on the 19th June. Water Temp, Oil Pressure and Oil Temp, in the Amber/White Series with Peak Recall. The sensors are currently stashed up under the dash until I get the hardware to install them properly. Also the car is going off the road from the 29th June for a few months so I can replace, upgrade, modify a few things. So a few more updates to come a bit more frequently now.
  4. Looks like a decent turn out tonight...i might skip my beefcake plans tonight and go to vilis Edit: work has asked me to stay back and help with stocktake
  5. I really should go, I haven't been in awhile, but I have other plans tonight, maybe next week.
  6. For the Block, Crank, Rod and Piston machine work was roughly $3k
  7. Ah, Congratulations on getting married. Yeah, I had my own engine trouble a few years ago, full story in my Build Thread - link in Signature
  8. Looking good, I am going to watch with most interest. That turbo I bought off of you a few years ago is still going well , absolutely love it.
  9. Certainly Umm, somewhere around 10-15,000 I would say, coming up to its 3rd oil change in a few thousand km's UPDATE I decided to go with Depo Racing Gauges. I got 60mm Oil Temp (DEP-PK-WA6027B), Pressure (DEP-PK-WA6047B), and Water Temp (DEP-PK-WA6037B), now the fun of install them begins which has already thrown me some issues. The supplied sensors are 1/8"npt, and the HKS Oil Cooler Adapter Plate that came with the kit (15004-AN008) has 1/8 PT (or BSPT) so it wont fit However I want to get a oil relocator, and that means I can do some funky stuff with Braided Line and AN Fittings, so I will get that sorted soon with some pictures...when funds permit
  10. 250rwkw in a R32 is still pretty quick. I know someone with a stockish RB25 in a R32 GTST and it goes like the clappers. With the R32 you would have a higher power to weight ratio which is never a bad thing. An engine transplant is legal with the R32, as long as the engine is newer, and you have the braking systems to suit, ie, you drop a R33/R34 RB25 into a R32, you also then need to use R33/R34 brakes. You then fill in some paperwork, send it off, maybe take it to Regency for an inspection, so make sure everything is stock...and done, now you can modify it to get 300rwkw+. Oh, also use a RB25 gearbox, it is stronger then the RB20 gearbox as it is designed for more torque. Of course you could keep the RB20 in there, but it will make more work to get the same amount of power as a RB25 would. Nothing wrong with going the R34 route either, just means your power to weight will be slightly less...but compared to a Falcon it would still be higher.
  11. Join SAU:SA and you can get 10% off at Blackwood Tyrepower
  12. Cheers mate, yes reading build threads is good for giving you ideas, no matter how bad they may be I have ordered some 60mm Depo Racing Gauges, which I will be receiving in the next few weeks
  13. Most likely not, its gym night and to pay for the GPS/GSM Tracker Group Buy
  14. LOL, Dave did, didn't he
  15. Ummmm, changed the oil a few times and the spark plugs Other then that not really, Still trying to pay the engine build loan off (almost done), pay for Flights to Singapore for the F1 in September, as well as the F1 Tickets. However I have been looking at parts to get once I am "debt free" (is there such a thing when owning a Skyline!? ) Looking into some Gauges, thinking of either Prosport or Depo Racing Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, and Water Temp gauges. Some sort of Oil Filter Relocator, maybe Autobahn88, Cooling Pro from Just Jap, or spend the money and get a Grex/Trust item. A new clutch is a must if I want more power, so looking into either a Nismo Tiwnplate Super Coppermix or a Jim Berry Clutch, decisions decisions. New FMIC with Piping and a front facing plenum, either a Plazmaman or a Greddy Style, I would prefer a Plamaman as a apparently the longer runners mean I have a bit more torque over the shorter runners of the Greddy type. Also tossing up the idea of a new ECU, Haltech Platinum Pro, so I can maybe run flex fuel, time will tell really, but I will be sure to update this thread when something of interest is done. New FMIC with piping Edit: Oh, also thinking of new rims, not too sure what to get, so may choices.
  16. Would love to...cant afford it this week
  17. I'll head on down after i have done an oil change on the R33.
  18. Every car is different. You can use a tune from another car with similar mods as a starting point but then change it to tailor your car. The car he bases uour tune on may be in better or worse conditon, which means it wont work correctly in your car, etc. +1 stick to a local tuner that you can go and see and talk to. That way you can ask them questions and they can do a touch up if something isnt quite right. They will also be able to tell you if your car isnt responding to the tune very well...unlike a mail order tune.
  19. Spotted a Silver Stag out the front of work just before 5:30pm today, was missing a rear bar and had an SAUSA Sticker on the drivers side rear window.
  20. For original try Nissan would be a bit pricey I would say. Also try your local Radiator Supplier/Mechanic, maybe even Natrad, however most people for the money get an Alloy Radiator - ISC, Autobarn, Ebay, SAU Sponsor, etc.
  21. Unable to make it tonight, having tea with Shane and Rob at blackwood
  22. I may be able to grab them for you Tim if I go.
  23. Twas me at work
  24. Looks good, how much roughly for all 4?
