  1. That would be Lee (scibidibibop)
  2. What about Chuck Norris?
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1AE9mwEwM4 Just had too My build thread is here But a quick spec of the new RB25 set up is; CP 86.5mm RB26 Pistons R34 RB26 Crank I-Beam Rods ACL Bearings ARP Studs all round Nitto Oil Pump Tomei 256 8.5 Cams Inlet and Exhaust Performance Springs Baffled and Extended Sump (7L) GT3076 0.82 Internal Wastegate Nismo 740cc Injectors Stock Exhaust Manifold Ceramic Coated Haltech E11v2 ECU with 3 Bar Map Sensor
  4. My Old setup GT3076 0.82 Internal Wastgate Nismo 740cc Injectors Bosch 040 Boost T off of ebay for $30 Haltech E11v2 with Map Sensor Tuned at Horsepower In A Box on 14-15psi made 262.4rwkw with about 400nm torque on rollers. New Setup Same as old except the following. CP RB26 86.5mm Pistons R34 RB26 Crank Tomei 256 8.5 Cam In/Ex Performance Springs Head Ported Tuned at Horsepower In A Box on 8psi made 227rwkw with 400-500nm torque on rollers. Same return flow intercooler used in both instances, ie input/output on the same side. Measurements not too sure of, but as intercooler sizes go, it's a medium size. As said before the boost dropping off is killing the power, but the rear housing could also be holding you back, on 17psi you should be expecting about 260-280rwkw roughly.
  5. Details in Main Section of SA...and right here too
  6. Sorry to hear Matt, I have been there and done that myself...except to a RB25 and ringlands. If you need any help or info on rebuilding let me know and I'll help where I can.
  7. Yeah, I will.
  8. Damn, I am sure the sales assistant told me they were...what about if I supply him a pillow too
  9. I can bring a blow up mattress for you to sleep on in Dions and my room...if Dion is alright with that.
  10. I think I still have some 0 gauge left, I'll swap it over once I get the car back. The good thing is, it didn't cost my anything either as I knew the guys working at Strathfield when it was still arround.
  11. I replaced mine awhile ago. I used some 0 gauge cable, a gold battery terminal connector with volt meter, and a solder/crimp eyelet from Motortraders (now Bursons) for the positive side. Ground side I used 4 Gauge cable, battery terminal connector and a solder/crimp eyelet.
  12. That is correct, GT3076 0.82
  13. So, the current power figures are in on my engine build...about 220rwkw at 8psi, should know more tomorrow after the tune has been touched up a bit more, and it should be in my possession A lot more torque and response has been gained, we compared the dyno graphs from its 260rwkw tune from October 2009 to tonight's...almost identical except for peak power and boost coming on earlier now. If we run anything higher then 8psi (actuator pressure) the clutch starts slipping there is that much power being produced, dyno sheets to come tomorrow hopefully
  14. Sunday 16th October Went to the workshop tonight to watch the final instalment of the Engine run in...was rather boring actually. After that was done we dumped the run in oil, and replaced it with some nice new fresh stuff...and then we decided to do some fun stuff...Power Runs. Back in 2009 the boost tee was set to 14.5-15psi, and that was what it was still set too. Lets just say this was a semi bad idea, why was it bad? The amount of power that was being made was too much for the clutch to take so it slipped...or just wheel spin. So we disconnected the boost tee and ran actuator pressure...which was just a measly 8psi. Ran the car up, no issues at all there...the power figure is about 220rwkw at 8psi with about 400nm of torque and a lot more response all over. This thing is going to be a monster once I have a new clutch and tune in it ...which is going to be a LONG way off
  15. Not too sure, I know on Saturday it was having a secondary run in, and the timing was being touched up, I have heard it is going back on the rollers today (Sunday 16th), so I can't exactly say for sure. Cheers Matt, sorry for the car's smoke trying to kill you
  16. Friday 14th October 2011 Finally after 1 year and 7 Days the R33 lives again. Called into HPIAB at around 9pm on my way home from going out to tea and Morrie says "Good thing your here, my tune hasn't shown, so I am going to run your Car in"...My reaction was along the lines of Car was put on the dyno, and run in. Lots of smoke as the residue oil was burning off from the previous engine failure, but after awhile it disappeared The new engine ran like clockwork with nothing breaking or leaking. During the run in process the Turbo and Exhaust manifold hot a nice red hot glow to it , I'll try and get a pic. Saturday 15th October Apparently the car was run in some more, and the timing touched up from the previous tune to coincide with the new camshafts. I don't know exact details as I was at work all day.
  17. That reminds me of that truck we saw/heard in Japan.
  18. IT IS ALIVE!!!! Started it up last night to see if we could get oil pressure...and we did, so it is all good.
  19. FFFFFF, that is just down the road from me, figuratively speaking. Oh...look what I found
  20. Oh, Oh...I've been there, and seen the Top Secret R35 GTR in the metal.
  21. If Panzer is gonna be there I might head down....see if I can bring a little surprise for everyone

Turn left at South Terrace 0.07km 5. Bear right at Glen Osmond Road 2.01km 6. Continue along Glen Osmond Road 2.59km 7. Continue along Adelaide Crafers Highway 7.99km 8. Continue along South Eastern Freeway 62.34km 9. Continue along South Eastern Freeway 7.55km 10. Continue along Princes Highway 14.02km 11. Continue along Dukes Highway 2.87km 12. Bear left at Mallee Highway 98.59km 13. Take the 1st roundabout exit at Mallee Highway 176.66km 14. Bear left at Calder Highway 0.08km 15. Turn right at Mallee Highway 95.77km 16. I suggest filling up at Tailem Bend, as it is about 300km to Ouyen, and then filling up again at Ouyen, and they both have BP Ultimate. Of course it is a rough route, I will mostt likely be leaving from Victor Harbor with Rob.
  23. start, run, msconfig. See what is running on start up, and turn any services off you don't need/want.
