  1. ts2cd here, 322awkw. bit grabby but nice n reliable.
  2. because there may be too much clearance and not enough meat on the std crank. the oil drive on the std crank is only cast and with a hard steel oil pump it may wear. installing a hard steel crank collar should lessen this and u should have a better clearance. just wait till u get the collar mate dont stress.
  3. gee u didnt have to pay that much 4 a collar but at least u have peace of mind its a real good one. the grub screws go on the counterbalancers of the crank. std cranks have aluminium bungs which can apparently come loose with high hp/rpm. so a machine shop removes these cuts a thread and grub screws them. also the crank can then be flushed out properly through the journals. edit, but then your crank collar has to be grub screwed also this is seperate
  4. hey mate is your pm box working ?
  5. 17psi = 22psi. but lowerd to 20 with a bit of timing taken out.
  6. hey hows the car man ?? no oil probs ??
  7. have u tried hitting it back toward the engine just to crack it first ? this is what i did. then lubed with inox and pryed forward against the oil pump with a flat head screw driver one either side. also with a flat head and hammer try rotational wise to help crack it more. once u get it far enough forward u can use the puller. u just need a big jolt to crack it then youre laughin.
  8. no way nizpro coolers are 66mm. they are 3 inch at least.
  9. i didnt know they came with a sleeve ? my instructions just said to trim 10mm off (i think) the standard.
  10. just get a pulley remover that grabs the back of the gear, off in 10 secs.
  11. riiiight, so u have tried and proven this then ?
  12. the inner gear from drive flat to ouside on the tomei is very thin, the one that sits on the very inside. nitto are local and u can deal direct with.
  13. awesome mate, just be careful of that oil surge !! u got a good gauge yeah ?
  14. common man vids or pics !? power graph ?? such an interesting build and im hangin to see what dan has cooked up !!
  15. mine does his with djetro. slowly building revs at around 4k upwards. wot not a problem, but sucks when u come to a hill and all u can do to get up is go wot. it could be the switch from vaccuum to boost but i dont think so. unless my boost gauge is inaccurate.
  16. nah mate u cant mod the standard gear to read more accurately, its a failure. i drilled a bigger hole in the sender and although it did make the dash gauge go up higer, its doughy and slow to react.
  17. ^^ u should know, your a massive keyboard warrior.
