Hi just thought I'd let everyone know I fixed this. Maybe can help someone one day although it looks like I'm the only one who has experienced this. It turns out the factory screws bottom out in the head if u don't use the big metal spacers under them. U can't apply enough pressure. I used bits of rubber tube before under the screws without the spacers but it's just not enough pressure. I now used new short screws with washers and allows more pressure to be put. I'm so stupid lol cheers.

Yes mate I've also tried sealant in the channel before putting the rubber seal. Then push down on my floor tiles to make sure perfectly flat. I have a small mirror I check around after install to make sure the gap is flat. This is about the 20th time I've removed.

Hi guys I have a really frustrating problem with my r32 gtr. For about 2 years it has been leaking from the rear exhaust side cam cover. I tried other covers and have changed the gasket twice with no change. I use 3bond sealant also I have changed the half moon seal. It' defo coming from the join between head and cam cover but I just can' t stop it leaking it' crazy. Anyone had this b4 ?? Could it be a cracked head even if it's coming from the in between jointhats all I can think of. Just driving me nuts

I used 1/4 drive everytime no probs. With the cams in u can't fit any 1/2 inch drive -
I thought they were pretty damn easy !!

What viscosity oil are u using now ? Also I'm glad your engine is running with no probs that's awesome oil pressure so indicates your engine is very healthy. A snappy gauge would be a safe idea also.

Piston the wrong way around ?? That will do it so many people have made the mistake.

My engine used to breathe over 1 litre of water out the overflow. Now with the tomei it's more like 250ml. The cometic when removed was in perfect condition tho. Strange but could only be hg.

Standard guides are dodgey and dangerous as, and brittle get rid of them. Ebay sells supertech guides for 264 bucks delivered can't go wrong. My guides leaked for years and I could never find why my car blew smoke but when the guides were removed they came out in pieces ....

The reason they won't do a low mount, is prob because they can't get the correct flange position. The whole point of a high mount is that u are able to get a perfect flange/collector position with plenty of space.

Zing the inner part of the ps bracket (on the inside). Put a small washer on the opposite side.
