  1. So we could get 5% off if we get 4 turbos high flowed at te same time by hypergear. He starts back at work around 8th feb...
  2. Morng mangs! Anyone know the size of the stock RB25 turbo inlet? Is it 2 3/4"? How hard is it to get some piping that will go from the stock intake up to 4"? Don't know the first thing about where to look. Or could I just use a silicone joiner that goes from my intake pipe -> 4" inlet on a new turbo?
  3. Side question: What's regarded as a decent amout of torque?
  4. Ideally, if I can get a neo turbo in good nick, I'd rather that and just slap it on... seeing as I wasn't planning for a turbo upgrade any time soon Would work out a lot cheaper too
  5. Righto.... I'd probably have to wait til around the same time as Jason anyway due to my fundings after Christmas etc I'd go the same deal, what's it called, a TR43 if you look at the website. Boost range 2000-3800, YES PLEASE! Do you think I'd need the actuator? I'm using an R32 @ 10psi and a manual boost controller to bleed off another 1-2psi so for now that would be fine...... once I get my emanage installed and tuned though, around 16psi would still be achieveable with that same setup wouldn't it?
  6. Ok sick... group buy on hypergear high flows anyone? LOL I'm keen, Jason's looking at doing it towards the end of January/sometime in Feb... Marto what are you thinking? I figure if we talk to hypergear and say "look, we're sending nearly 3k your way, can you do us a deal" we might get something out of it. Also combining shipping on our 3 turbos would be a plus?
  7. Got it, thanks very much for that. Were you going to supply the Neo turbo? I'd say that price is for the work carried out by them, but you still have to supply a turbo to them, is that right? Says the man with the sedan 33!
  8. Jeremy could you forward that email to me pweeeeeeease? Mosquitocoils@hotmail.com
  9. Not to VIC in the skyline, talk about defect central... Yeah nice, that's what I'm talking about!
  10. Yep 7psi for both R33 and R34 actuators R32 actuators are 10psi Thanks for the help
  11. Hahahahaha sweet, I'm touched you'd go to so much effort for little old me I'll inbox you about it yo
  12. OUCH That hurts. I've got around 6 months left on good behaviour (read: 1 point) and my gf is 1 month into her 6 month suspension... I feel your pain
  13. True... funnily enough I just came across your ad on boost from November, selling an Rb25 turbo. You still got it? I might be keen, to send off to hypergear/GCG to high flow it...
  14. Just called 'bribane turbo and tuning' or something like that, over at the gabba To rebuild stock rb25 turbo, assuming parts are available, around $700 To steel-wheel: extra $350ish To rebuild, high flow & steel wheel: around $2000 Poooooooop.
  15. Emanage would do heaps better than SAFC Emanage does your ignition & injectors as well as bending air flow (which is all SAFC does) I was in the process of saving my pennies to buy an Emanage blue off a mate in late january... but now that may have to wait due to recent developments. In any case, that's the path I'm going down. Turbo Clean & flow test injectors Maybe FPR if needed Emanage blue Win Turbo upgrade was going to come after the computer, way down the track, if needed. Should be able to get over 200rwkw on stock turbo, even up to like 230+.
  16. Install the controller, wind it up to 10psi, set and forget. You won't have a problem doing that.
  17. Hi guys, in need of some quick info here. I have tried searching but since the site upgrade, it only seems to show results from threads which have been updated SINCE the upgrade. Anyway, I'm still in the process of diagnosing the problem, but it's seeming like my R33 S1 turbo is on it's way out. I can pick up an R34 stock turbo for pretty cheap, just need to make sure it's a direct swap. I'm 99% sure it is, but I still don't quite know enough to be sure. I'm not expecting any increase of anything, rather just a replacement. Although what would the larger OP6 rear housing mean for me? Thanks.
