Ah man, that is NOTHING. Went over the weekend to get my tipper truck inspected for r/w. Geee, put it this way, im f*kin angry. Top it off, $300 gone. He listed 20 items, only approx 5 defects were reasonable. After you leave your truck/car for inspection, you have to pay for the inspection, while the inspector does his best to put as much bullshit as possible for you not to come back, but if you do, he will make big $$$$ repairing bullshit.

Exactly my point mate, not everyone is an Einstein on here. Some people do have stupid ideas but help 'em out if you want, but indirectly calling them stupid is not right either.

i think you should go and speak to each shop and make up your own mind and decision. Im in the same boat, spoke to trent, paul and sam from dr drift and made up my mind. There is suprisingly price difference (300+)for the nistune therefore, being on tight budget, that was considered as well as reputation.

You are spot on, you cant just turn up the boost and expect power, you need to modify the car, exhaust, cooler, maybe fresh coil pack before even considering turning up the boost BUT, i can assure you that OP problem is not ECU as i used this ecu previously. Its something else, the problem was there even before Mines ecu, and my suggestion is to get good flowing exhaust, good cooler, coil pack and turbo tech manual boost T. And than run 12psi. Thats how i made 208 kw, and you should too providing rest of your car is in good nic.
