  1. You are right, front mount would help. Thing is, i had all that and i kept on getting done by cops (went wrong way about it, doing up the car), so im being extra careful this time. Im not after any serious power anyway.
  2. Im on crack? ill ignore that just be careful my friend...im not here to insulted, just asked for opinion. I took it to a tuner like your self, he chucked it on a dyno and thats the result i got.
  3. I made 220kw on mines ecu, 16 psi, and all those mods. If i was to get a front mount, and get ecu, you still cant go past 230kw due to injectors and z32 maxing, so is it really worth it? ... i thought about it but in the end opted not to waste 1k for 10kw. My current tune is still safe, on 220kw When i ran the car i only had 190kw and didnt have half the mods. Will be interesting to see what i get now, with exhaust on.
  4. Correction, when i ran the car i had 14 psi, and stock cooler and stock 2.5 inch intake with pod. (190kw at wheels) 1. What were your 60ft times? 2.37 2. MPH? 104.02 3. Actualy ET? 14.0034 temp 35.3 C (lol) -is it possible for the car to be more laggier? Because for some reason the car felt laggy once i took the exhaust off?
  5. Well if you go back to my initial post and you will realise that i compared the gt35 to standard turbo...Thats all i was saying...I probably only said it 'cos i hate laggy tubos, probably because i had one.... 4000rpm full boost... Normal driving, going up the westgate bridge, you need to down gear, turbo wouldnt boost at all under 3k. But that all depends on set up your running of course.
  6. 1/4 mile question: Few months ago i went to Heathcote for the first time and ran my car 1/4 mile. I did worse than i expected. Ever since that day me and a mate have been debating our actions that day, and we haven't resolved it therefore i thought i'd ask you guys for your opinions Car: R33-hiflow turbo, Mines ecu, 16 psi, 2.5 inch turbo back exhaust, split fire coil pack, apexi 3 inch intake, r34 cooler. The big QUESTION: When i got to Heathcote, my friend advised me to unbolt my exhaust just before cat as "this will improve" the car, car will go better in his opinion. I ran 14s flat at best, embarrassing, and in my opinion the car didn't run as good, just sounded loud and tough, but i don't think it went any better, if anything, went worse. So, questions is, DOES UNBOLTING EXHAUST BEFORE CAT HELP? Please elaborate on your answers-some people say no, you need compression others say yes, better flow. ?
  7. If you lived closer, id let you try out mine. But like you said, get it, try it, you will like it, after you like it, do a power run to see how much you are making and make sure its running safe ARF's and be a happy man like me. Hope your happy in whatever you do. If you end up getting one PM me with your thoughts. Cheers
  8. And i found my dyno graph of first set up i had. Here is the original post: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...es#entry4565873 Date: 30 Apr 2009 Split fire coil pack Turbotech controller set to 12psi Apexi cooler K&N Filter Full exaust Greddy blow off Mines ECU Stock turbo, fuel and everything else. Dyno graph:
  9. You buy it, and plug it in, thats all. But you need to have basic supporting mods which are: FMIC, POD, EXHAUST, boost 10-12 psi. You plug it in, and thats IT. But for your own sake and to prove everyone else wrong, take it to a tuner, and just run it for 80 bux to see your ARF, to make sure they are safe, like i did, for your own piece of mind.
  10. Ye "cook" your engine. Mate, im happy to send you two dyno sheets, and my car is still running fine so my car my be some special version of SKYLINE? lol
  11. Mate dont listen to people that never had MINES ECU. I had two. On one set up i ran: (stock turbo) Exhaust, pod, apexi cooler, 12psi T, splitfire coilpack, Mines ecu, so on 12 psi i made 208KW Safe afr all 12s. If you want dyno graph PM me. Other set up im running now is: Hi flow turbo, fuel pump (left over from other set up) 16 psi T, splitfire coilpack, r34 SMIC, exhaust, 3 inch intake+pod, 220kw at wheels safely altho running a lil rich due to aftermarket fuel pump and me blocking off the blow off for flutter, point is, its all safe. Mate, im telling you, do not listen to people that never tried one, ask people that had one, as they will all recommend one for basic mods such as yours. Dont do what i did: had MINES, went to PFC, wasted 1300 for PFC plus two tunes (3g all up) all to go back to hi flow turbo and MINES ECU. Anyway, ill stop recommending it, but thats definately my opinion, coming from person that had 2 mines ecu;s.
  12. I have my 19 inch RS GT wheels that I want to trade, i had them for over a year and im over them to be honest. Looking for something different so if you are interested, show me what you got. Front tires are 230s and rears 240s. Pm me or msg my mobile on 0421 864 698. Pictures:
  13. Douche, that's what im trying to tell you, the obvious..
  14. Was it as responsive at stockie? NO.
  15. Yes they are... even the GT30 are laggy. You realise when you go back to stocker just how laggy they really are. Even hiflow is laggy but much better compare to GT's i had.
  16. "To my knowledge Mines ecus are not user tunable so they will only suit one particular set up optimally (although they may run other cars)." Correct, but if you are planning on only running minor mods, such as exhaust, cooler, pod and coilpack with 10-14psi, this is the ecu for you. No tune, no worries, great results, great instant results. SAFC you need to buy it$$$ Connect it $$$ Tune it $$$ (all those costs for basic mods? I wouldn't, but that's my opinion).
  17. MINES ecu if you can find one. Supports basic mods such as yours, no tuning needed. I had two, both ran safe AFR's even tho everyone else said they wouldnt run safe AFR's, wrong! Made over 200kw with each one of em. You buy it, plug and play, and for piece of mind pay 80 bux for power run just so you can double check that ARFs are safe. Save on tune 900 bux which you never get back.

  20. Nice price, considering the work its been done to it. GL with sale.
  21. Thanks for that.
  22. Not everyone wants to run a front mount (police), but thank you for your input, even tho that's not what i was asking...
  23. Question. I have r33 gts. Mods: r34 cooler, hi flow turbo, splitfire coil pack, exhaust, pod, turbotech T boost controller. How much would it approximately cost $$$$ to get nistune and approx $$$ to get it tuned in Victoria? Just rough estimate what i need so i know if its worth it. Im running MINES ecu but if its worth it, might upgrade. Thanx in advance.
  24. If you have aftermarket turbo, block off your blow off and get the flutter going. Everyone on here pretends that they hate it when really in my opinion, its the best sound. Just 'cos someone wants flutter doeskin give you a free ticket to bag and abuse a member.
