  4. off topic question, but can i ask, why did you upgrade the injectors to 480cc injectors? As far as i understand, standard ones are good for 230-40kw arent they? Or is that future mod, for more kw? just curious

  6. One day when Government is not all about money, but safety, Cars will be produced to go 115 max, and after that fuel cut kicks in. Similar to Jap fuel cut at 180. 115 is plenty because u never need to go over 115, so why not limit cars to 115KM/H?
  7. On GT3040, boost wouldnt come on at all under 3500 (which when driving normally is annoying) with G2 turbo comes on about 2700 (only couple of pounds which count when your trying to over take). Full boost 3500 rpm. LAG: On gt3040 i would have full boost at around 4500 G2 1st gear 4000, 2nd gear 3500, 3rd gear 3400 5th 3200 rpm. My opinion: I was supposed to go for G2 from the start, and mates talked me into getting 3040 instead (M I S T A K E). Unwanted attention, got put off the road. canary. G2 is better or as good up to 5000RPM, after that not as good but very close to GT3040 IMO. Fully legal, i recommend G2.
  8. Not yet, im running MINES ecu which ill try to keep in there if AFR's are safe (will check on the dyno). Id be happy to run 14 psi, so i wont get the full benefits of the turbo but than again, i want to keep standard injectors etc etc Right now I drive it around on 14 psi with few other mods and car feels great. Once i slap on the cooler, ill check my AFR.
  9. Very happy with results from the new turbo (g2), well worth the money. Turbo is installed, and pulls a lot harder through-out every gear. (just ripped a m3 lol) Excellent product and customer service, and highly recommended. -I just wish i saved all that money instead of getting gt 3040, spending big money on injectors, fuel pump, z32 tune etc etc just to get done by cops. Now i get similar power, and i mean similar! and all i got illegal is my t piece boost controller. Very satisfied. Here is 2 pictures of my stock turbo V G2 to compare the difference for everyone to see.

  17. r33 s2 stock turbo. -bought it off my mechanic about 4 months ago when i decided to go back to stock, always ran stock boost. Now ive decided to go for more power so i upgraded therefore this turbo is no longer needed. nothing wrong with it. $300 0421864698

  21. Okay. If i was to get r34 gt-t cooler, could i consider that as an "upgrade"? And is it straight swap for my old one. (i know the r34 cooler is a tad bit fatter so im thinking its a bit of an upgrade) thats basically my question. I had front mount and all they do is ask for unwanted attention and if you get pulled over, you will get done, pod or no pod. (personal experience) As for turbo, heaps of topics so i will leave that one alone. Cheers.
  22. Hey guys, sorry i had to start another thread but i need some questions answered, feel free to chip in with your opinions please. BACKGROUND INFO: Car: r33 s2 Mods: boost T, full exhaust, exedy heavy duty clutch, Bosc fuel pump, pod, Mines ECU tuned to run hi flow on 16 psi. AIM To run about 220-30kw on hi flow turbo (which i haven't bought yet but looking) on legal set up so cops don't hassle me. QUESTION 1. I don't want to run front mount intercooler. My question is, is r34 gts cooler a good upgrade? Or GTR cooler? And how hard is it to install/whats needed. 2. If i was to get r34 hi flow turbo, is it still straight swap or do i need to modify anything (ie dump pipe/ lines)
